i just heard a song, well, watched the MV, in KBS and was totally taken by it so i waited for the title and the singer to show up their name.
it turned out that my aunt mary sang the song and the title is "with".
i naturally love bands, especially local bands here in my country so i don't know.
can anybody give me the lowdown on them?
where can i get songs from them? so maybe i can order my own copy of their album?
cause i can't find anything of them like MVs and songs in sites i go to.


also, is the singer the bassist?
or the other one?
cause, uh, i love bassits. hehe.

i'm gonna research more on them too....

"With" is the title track from My Aunt Mary's latest album 'Drift'.

vocal as well as guitarist is Jung soon young, not the bassist.
the bassist's name is Han jin young btw.
and drums; park jung joon =)

Yet to check their latest album but the "Just Pop" one is pretty boring to me.

^----When I first heard "Just Pop" it was ok 'cept for a couple songs. Now it totally grew on me. Maybe the type of music isn't your style? ^^

Aah I've grown to really love My Aunt Mary. It really fits my mood when I'm driving on a long stretch of road or hitting the curves...ok enough about my driving. The point is that I really like them! ^^
I just checked right now to see if there was a thread on Soompi for them. I somehow just assumed that there wasn't...aiyaa. When I saw that their last album came out in 2004, I had given up hope that there was going to be a new album coming out. So when it did, I was soooo happy~~* It has a new kind of sound to it, which is awesome! ^^
Their new MV was okii....and it's not my personal favorite song on the album, but then again I don't know the lyrics. Only a couple of lyrics are even out in Korean, and since I can't speak Korean (only read...T.T) I can't really find them.
I think they're on their homepage? The problem is that they won't show up on my computer. I have Korean input and I can read any Korean that shows up, but...I don't know why their lyrics won't show up. Aish aish.

Anyhow, it's so cool that there is a thread on here for them!
I still love Nell, but My Aunt Mary is more upbeat than Nell. So while I can compare the two...they are different enough that I can love them both without getting bored or picking a favorite amongst the two. ^o^

Sorry to keep going on and on, but I kept seeing 미국 on their news articles. Are they from the US? Or was that just talking about something else?

i really love my aunt mary.. their sound is, yes, more upbeat than nell. i can really distinguish their sounds now, and appreciates both.
