Summary
A classic Disney animated fairy tale meets with the modern, live-action romantic comedy in Walt Disney Pictures' ENCHANTED. Featuring an all-star cast, the film follows the beautiful princess Giselle (AMY ADAMS) as she is banished by an evil queen (SUSAN SARANDON) from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer (PATRICK DEMPSEY) who has come to her aid -- even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tale prince (JAMES MARSDEN) back home – she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?
This will be the first feature-length Disney live-action/traditional animation hybrid since The Lizzie McGuire Movie; traditionally-animated characters will not share the screen with live-action characters. This may be because of an animated character turning into a live-action character in the real world.

It seems like another fairy-tale spoof movie for laughs. I laughed whenever the prince or the princess tried to sing, they ended up getting interrupted or clobbered.

Welll at fist I was like...hmmm...okay, disney...amy adams? I mean, she's a good actress, but a "princess"? She's not exactly what I'd take as "pretty".
But the trailer totally nailed it! Lolz it's like Disney is mocking all of its own past animation movies. "Don't...sing. Let's just...walk." Hahahaha my God "Derek" you crack me up! Reminds me of how characters in cartoon often burst out...singing puahahaha.
Definitely gonna check it out. I WISH hmmm someone else played the princess...Isn't Amy a little too old? T_T

Omgosh I watched this today and it was SOOO GOOD <3!! Oh my it was sSO HILARIOUS~! Story line is super cute too. I totally recommend this for everyone <3 ^__^V

i just finished watching this movie...
i wasn't expecting much... i was dragged by my friends to come and watch it...
but after watching the movie i felt all gushy/mushy inside...

story line is sooo cute!!

and nancy is the woman is from the broadway show Wicked!! (i had no idea!)
also there are soo many fun facts about the movie...

ex. the woman in the soap opera that prince edward was watching (the woman in the soap was the voice for Bell in Beauty and the Beast)
and the assisstant from the law firm was the voice of Arial from the Little Mermaid!!!

I really want to watch this. I've been seeing the trailer for months in theaters, on tvs... I went to watch Bee Movie (it was good) today and next door was Enchanted. Sigh.

Cyclops (James Marsden) is in this?!?! LOL...This is weird coming from a guy but I actually want to watch this movie, the storyline seems to be really funny. Just by watching the trailers it looks Disney was really creative with this movie, for example: the magic mirror being the tv and singing LOL.
