Maybe Ares.. they're not that heavy (hardcore rock with some metal elements?).. ;x But they're worth a listen~

The only band I've heard is Moonshine.
My fave song is The Memorable Tide ^^

Here's Lady in Black (youtube).

Korean metal?
I see what you mean..
You can try TRAX.
Yah they good ^^
They also sing Japanese too (:
juhjuh
^ sorry to break your heart but the trax is definitely not metal xD
RACETRAITOR
Vassline is a metalcore band. They started as hardcore and were one of the main bands on hardcore label GMC but the metal label gets you farther in Korea. Samchung are just some very far-right-wing skinheads who started dressing like Mexican gangsters and covering Skrewdriver.

So has anyone actually listened to (or were able to listen to) all the bands on this entire list?

Most of 'em
RACETRAITOR
There's also Downhell, who have been getting pretty big lately. There's even a "reality" TV show starring them that focuses on their untalented female bassist.

Orienkorean and RACETRAITOR, who would you recommend out of all those bands to those who are just starting to get into rock? Or have sensitive ears? Remember, for that kind of music to be popularized, you have to try to appeal to a general public.

No. Stick with Seo Taeiji and the boy bands until you're ready to listen to real music.

Define "real music", then.
IxWarfare
Go with Black Hole first. They're metal without the "ARG I HATE MY PARENTS! ARG CURRUPTION!!" yelling and screaming. The singing is actually nice on the ears in many of the songs.

IxWarfare, I tried Black Hole, thanks. But I didn't take to them too well; I want more interesting structure in a song. I thought they sounded 80s-ish. The singer seemed off too at times, I don't know. Are there any modern metal bands with a modern metal sound?
