Oh, I love YUI. She's my favourite singer.
When I first listened to her I thought her voice was too childish, but I love it that way. I think she's a great singer and songwriter, her songs are so sensitive and special . They make me think xD.

I don't know, I haven't noticed any difference in her music now. I don't know. Anyway, I hope she doesn't turn into some kind of Britney-turned-into-Avril or something like that. Don't know if you know what I mean.

By the way, does anyone know where I can find translations of her songs?

YUI!!! I love every song of hers....I first heard her Rolling Star on bleach, and I thought 'her voice is soooo cute!'. And I fell in love with her music. She's awesome with her guitar.

Hey, a YUI thread *yay* First knew her from Bleach anime -->Rolling Star. Love it ^^ She wrote her own songs? I don't mind her voice and definitely love her music so far

Recently, she's been one of my favorite Japanese artist. I first watched the "I remeber you" video and though she was cute. Then, her movie came out at that time, "taiyou no uta." It's a great movie to watch and she sang a lot of her good songs in that movie.

夏も、もうすぐ終わり…ますかね！？

ジリジリ暑いSunshineがまだまだ、日焼け肌を濃くしてくれそうですが、みなさんお元気ですか？宿題終わりましたか？時差ボケしてませんか？歯磨きましたか？

さてさて、この夏最高の暑さ=日本国内の過去最高気温記録を更新してしまった日、そう8月16日（木）、「マツリ～ナ2007」。正式名称「ZUSHI MARINA LIVE FESTIVAL ‘07マツリ～ナ2007 ～Sony Music Records Festival～」！
うだるような熱帯夜あけのお祭り～な訳でしたが、参加された方、I remember “夏の思い出”にできましたか？…ということで、「マツリ～ナ2007」レポートです！



鎌倉駅からシャトルバスに揺られること約20分の地：海のすぐそば「リビエラ逗子マリーナ」。先程も言いましたが、も～本当に汗がとめどなく流れ落ちる程のカンカン照りでした。
「～Sony Music Records Festival～」とフェスタイトルにもある通り、同じレコード会社所属のアーティストによるイベントということで、顔なじみのスタッフも多い訳で…。出演前は、ほかのアーティストさんやスタッフとちょっと談笑したり、ライブを見たりとYUIも「マツリ～ナ」を楽しんでいましたよ。
カンカン照り……だったのですが、2アーティスト目の加藤ミリヤさんの出演時間位になってくると、「おんやぁ～！！」、太陽がカクレンボし出し、うっすらと雨雲らしき影が！天気予報は、降水確率0%でびくともしなかったはずなのに…？実は実話、あるアーティストの担当スタッフの1人に強烈な“雨呼び寄せオーラ”を持った、いわゆる雨男さんがいたんです！そのお陰（？）で、海の彼方から押し寄せる雨雲！！さらに時間が経ち、YUIと同じ事務所所属のKさんの出演時間になると、ポツポツポツ…。少～しずつ雨が降り始めてしまったのです。

「ありゃ～、これは、次のYUIの番には…！？」なんて思いながらやってきた出演時間だったのですが、みなさんのアツい熱気のお陰か…ポツポツ雨、、、、止みました。



ということで、始まったYUIステージ。会場めいっぱいに集まって下ったお客さん。いやぁ、若干曇っているとは言え、夏空の下、やはり野外ライブは気持ちがいいですねぇ。「音楽も地球もみんなみんな一緒だぜ！」みたいな…。2ndツアーのようなホールライブとはちと違う……何てたって、見上げると“空”がある！広い！音楽が身体に染み込んでくる！飛んで行くみたいだぁ～…って無限に広がりを持った空間に感じられるんですよね。気温の高さなんて忘れちゃいます。…でも汗は落ちてくるけど。




今年の夏のイベント出演も3本目になるわけですが、ロックテイスティーなセットリストで、ギターもストラトメイン。「My Generation」でスタートすれば、駆け抜けるように盛り上がって行きましたね。この「マツリ～ナ」では、「RIJ2007」「GPF07」のセットリストに1曲追加！しかもその1曲とは、な・なんとニューシングル「LOVE ＆ TRUTH」のｃ/w「Jam」！「パンクロックが…♪」で
す！「皮ジャン♪」です…皮ジャン着てたら大変なコトになったでしょうね…とは言え、あんなに暑い中での皮ジャンもROCK、PUNKか…！？…まぁそんな「たまごが先か、ニワトリが先か」みたいな論議は置いといて…。
この「Jam」の演奏では、みなさん、耳をたて聞き入るように観て下さってましたね。そんな、みなさんのYUIの音楽への“愛”をヒシヒシと感じちゃいました。これまたアツいですぜぃ。

I just found this online. I've only watched the first 20 mins so far...OMG the dance she does during the happy birthday song is soo cute.

i like goodbye days, since its from taiyo no uta her style is very similar to avril lavigne. but tbh, i like erika's taiyo no uta song better but both are good.
