My mother and brother were talking about how delicious frog legs were earlier, making me really curious. I've never tasted them before, but the thought of eating a frog kind of disgusts me. Since they are a delicacy in France, do you think you would try them given the chance?

What do you guys think of them? n_n

At first I saw the raw picture and thoguht no way I would eat them.

Then I saw the cooked picture and it looks like chicken..

I don't think I would ever eat it though

i've had them before and they're pretty good but i don't think i can knowingly eat them.

I wouldn't want to eat them knowing they belonged to a frog. The thought disgusts me too.

Yup. I ate it before but I think it was toad legs, not frogs. It tastes great steamed with rice =)

I've already eaten them xDD since when I was really little. of course, most chinese people just see it as a normal dish xP they're delicious!

Not saying that I'll love them or anything.

i ate them yesterday.. but of course they chopped it up and they didnt look like those in the pictures.
the fried one in the first picture look like pants. lol.

mmm Frogs.. Lol its good!! this is actually the only "gross" meat i've ever eaten. I ate fried(Salt and Pepper) frog legs in China, it was delicious!!!

It's true. It's not as hard or dry.

It actually looks quite tasty cooked, I would try them if I ever had the oppritunity.

by accident...it tastes a bit like chicken but sweeter and the meat is a lot more tender

If I had eaten frog legs since I was a kid, I would've been able to eat them today without hesitation, just like I don't hesitate to eat chicken. A common food to a person is a common food to a person.

Anyway, looking at those pics, I can't eat them. It's the thought of these being frog legs and not being used to eating frogs at all that give me foreign resistance. The same thing can be said about insects. I can't eat them, because the thought of putting something that's not used to going into the mouth and chewing seems well, unnatural, despite good flavour. That's just me.

o.o It's actually not bad, it tastes like chicken. but there's a little more fuller taste.

I was taught how to hunt frogs with a spear and flash light when I was little, I also know how to skin them and clean the guts out prepare them for cooking.

I even used the frogs skins and stretched it over an old coffee can and made a frog skin drum , my dad taught me how to make it.

I like to eat frogs several different ways:

*fried

*cooked with black bean sauce and bitter melons

*steamed over the rice in a clay pot with mushrooms $ chinese sausage

FROGS are DELICIOUS! one of my favorite foods

I don't know what about eating a frog is disgusting compared to eating some squid or cow even. So they're amphibious and slimy... Can anyone explain this to me?
