If you are a customer service rep or just a cashier and someone attractive needs help, do you treat them better than those who are less attractive? Tip better? Do you just treat people that are prettier better? Do you think others do?

i treat everyone the same.
if ppl think sum1 is 'not good looking' i think i would pay more attention to him/her so they wont feel bad and have sum company. hey, more friends

studies show that if you shop well dressed, then customer service is usually better.

from personal experience... i saved on fish once. HAHAHAHA.

maybe a guy helper person will treat an attractive woman nicer, and vice versa, just because they want to flirt. thats what i would do... =\ but if it were someone that was the same gender as me then it wouldnt be any difference. just because im not trying to make a great impression or anything, and theres no point.

other customers, if they're really nice, i take them to the place, get it for them, show them were other things are...

When you see more 100 customers in a day... you hardly have time to scrutinize their so called "beauty". Instead, you focus on their manners and how they treat you. It's a beep to see that many people in a day..

Then, in that case, I treat the beautiful people with a sincere, "thank you, come again" versus those ugly ones. --;

Most of my customers are seniors, anyhow.

As for friends, that might just be the opposite. "Attractive" people (whatever the heck that is) always make friends. Not so sure about those who seem a bit unorthodox in their appearances. :x It's true. Haha, I don't have many friends. XD

Anyone can be pretty but that doesn't mean their personality is.

I don't work around a ton of people and the people I do see when I am at work are kids lol. And they're all cute haha =P

Would I treat a cute guy better than one I didn't find attractive? depends on whether he was an bubble gum or kept his mouth shut really. =o)

that`s how the story goes for me, as long as their attitude is as good as their looks.

man it depends since i deal with tourist everyday. There are some who just have the worst attitudes.
So I say it depends on me and my mood and how the person I am dealing with me acts.

yea. one time.. i walked in this store with casual clothings.. they didnt even show me a bit of interest (they helped the other people though).. and then right then and there i just wanted to slap them..

i've seen tons of people treat ppl they think is attractive way better.

i was next in line at the cashier at a supermarket.
the cashier (female) was super friendly, all smiles, and flirty with the guy ahead of me.

then when it was my turn she doesn't even say hi to me or even smile.

hmm.. i think if you're attractive it's likely that the only reason you're treated better is because the person is flirting with you..

i was with mi sister and her friends and we needed to get a cab.. we went to a dispatcher and he got us a cab for really really cheap. ^^;

"since you're such a pretty lady.. blah blah blah"

then before we left the driver said, "who here has a long skit?"

-in mi head- WTF?

"umm me."

"the dispatcher says to swing by some time"


i'm not saying i'm attractive [blah blah blah] but i guess it helps to look presentable to others [just like first impression] ;D

but oddly enough, the pretty ones are usually very polite. Of course, I have run into the snobby pretty girls, and I usually flair a nonchalant attitude towards them.

but of course there are also jerkass attractive people and very polite unattractive people

I dont give a cr@p if someones really pretty, I treat all my customers the same unless they're rude. Well actually... I work at abercrombie and from time to time these little grade/middle school girls come in dressed like hookers with their designer purses that their parents paid for and credit cards. Anyways they like to jack up the whole store and mess up everything so I dont even bother greeting/helping them or whatnot. But thats the only case. To me attitude>beauty

Well if an attractive person who is really rude wanted help, I probably wouldnt even want to.

I treat people depending on their attitude and how they treat other people too.

i treat nice people, nicely. and mean people, rudely. That's just how it works for me.

I actually treat them worse deliberately. Most of the time they are more demanding and particularly the girls are used of getting what ever they want out of guys, so I enjoy treating them like crap.

One that I particularly remember was this stupid bimbo girl that would always be ringing up for tech support because she stuffed up something with her computer. I always used to treat her like crap and then one day she asked me "why do you treat me so badly" and I said to her "because I'm the first male you have meet since you where 12 years old that isn't trying to get in to your undies".

I treat people the way they treat me. If someone is nice to me, I'm nice to them. If they're mean... Then I smack them. Well, not really but I do give a bit of an attitude when they do that. But actually, I tend to treat ugly people better... not on purpose.

I think I DO treat attractive people better. But if they're not worthy, I won't. Like above, I have a god-sister who is not all that attractive but I love her so much.
