#4 iPod Touch! Its basically an iPhone minus the phone, and it's 8mm thin!

I admit the ipod touch is pretty... but I am anti ipod >< so no for me. However, the new Nano would be great for me to get my sister for her bday comming up. I will post up more pictures when I get home!~

I'm not liking the nano. Are there official pictures out yet? Like the promotional ones? Those make it look like it's the metallic/aluminum cover instead of the smooth glossy surface.

The most I've ever used up on music was probably like 10 GB.

160 is useful for movies...but then again if the battery is **** then it doesn't matter how many movies you have on it if you could only watch 1 before the batteries are out.

Hopefully the battery is going to be good.

I'm hoping battery life and sound quality (up to par with Cowon D2?) Should make this a good buy...but it probably won't happen.

The nano's are better than I expected, they have a nice 2 inch screen. They're still going to be small in space though.
The video ipod has changed again, it's all rounded not and not flat...I don't like that...

iPod touch is what they SHOULD have released months ago.
skip the phone features, they're nothing.

It says on their site that it only have 20 hours I think versus the 40 hours with the ipod classic. If its wrong sorry hahah but check out their site.

At first I thought the new nano was hideous but the more I look at it, the more appealing it is. and it helps that the 4gig is now $149. What irks me is that it only comes in one color.

And oh man, I bet iPhone users are pissed now. I think it's always better to be patient when it comes to new products

the new nanos look like flatter ipod videos which doesn`t really make them nanos anymore.

O, nice..so they didn't change the appearance of it....just made it 160 GB...wow, I'd love that space...but I really don't need that much, lol. The nanos look weird, like a squished version of a regular ipod....and it looks huge...but maybe it isn't?

the ipod touch is so not worth it man!!!!! my friend bought it and here's his logic:

"No Phone: The new iPod Touch may have more storage, but it doesn't have a phone. This means you still have to carry two devices: a phone and the iPod Touch. I don't know about you, but I'm not one to carry an iPod everywhere I go. That's why I say no thanks to the iPod Touch. I'll just stick to an iPhone and eliminate all the excess baggage.

No Camera: The 2-megapixel camera is gone.

No Bluetooth or EDGE: This means no bluetooth headphones, headset, or access to the Internet when you can't find a hotspot. Bummer.

Wi-Fi: Woohoo, it has Wi-Fi — but what's the use of having Wi-Fi if you can't always access a hotspot outside the house? Once you walk out the door, the only place you have free access to the Internet is at Starbucks to buy music.

Storage: Why, oh why on earth would you pay $299 for an 8GB iPod or $399 for 16GB? OK, so it's flash-based, has a multi-touch interface, a beautiful 3.5-inch display, and Wi-Fi capabilities, but the price just seems outrageous when the 160GB metal iPod Classic is only $349. Makes me wanna weep.

Even the Sony Mylo and Zune have some of these features. Why make it look and act like a PDA, yet leave out important things like a microphone.

The good news is we now have options. Options are great when you don't have to to decide between carriers, or find ways to unlock the iPhone without it blowing up in your face. The iPod Touch has great features, but doesn't compare to the iPhone. Now that the iPhone is cheaper, why not go for the one with the most features at the expense of storage? Besides, I already have plenty of storage for music on my four other iPods."

No Phone: that's what the iPhone is for DUH

No Camera: Why the hell do you need a camera for a freaking MP3 player? again it's not an iPhone or a digi cam

No Bluetooth or EDGE: Isn't EDGE only for phones? it has WiFi built in already

Wi-Fi: can't say anything about this since it differs where you live

Storage: I was disappointed about the iPod touch's storage BUT the price is higher since because of the stuff that's in it. the 16GB is the same price as the iPhone but with no phone and double the memory.

No New Features: kinda agree on this one

Anyways, if you're with AT&T and have the money to buy the iPod Touch, I would suggest getting a refurbished iPhone instead if you only need 8GB of music. Unless you don't have AT&T then pass up on it and go for the classic for the storage. Either way, I don't think the iPod Touch is worth it right now except for bragging rights. If you just want an iPod to listen music with either get the Nano or the Classic.
