i heard that crest white strips weaken ur teeth so it hurts>.< so my unni told me to use aquafresh trays cause it doesnt destroy the enamel thing.so i used it and it works real well and my teeth didnt weaken^^

Either rub strawberries on them...or brush your teeth with baking soda. <- There was a thread somewhere in here about it. Look for it.

DO NOT try brushing with baking soda..it works but it doesn't spread evenly u'll have uneven spots of white on ur teeth and ur original colour which would look kinda gross -__-''

ditto, but use baking powder not soda, it'll take awhile to see any result, but using arm&hammer toothpaste is the same thing. so i'd just use the strips unless your teeth are very sensitive.

Those crest strips are horrible for you...they take off a layer of your teeth to make it whiter, so then your teeth are weaker and more sensitive.

I tried Colgate simply white gel... it works, but it doesnt last very long.

Crest Premium White Strips works the best. They're about $30-40 but they're the best.
I had a super white smile by a week. A year later, they're still white.

An alternative to Crest white strips are Maxodent strips, which I heard stick better to your teeth. I did hear that brushing with strawberry works as well. If you don't want baking soda, you could try hydrogen peroxide.

crest white strips definitely works! if you feel that your teeth are sensitive try the 14 day ones. if not, the 7 day kit works the best.

let's be careful with baking soda. over usage might cause very sensitive teeth. try once in a week

I used Crest White Strips, which I thought were really effective. But you'll have to re-whiten once a year, unless you can find a way to avoid coffee, tea, and other staining foods

i used baking soda before, it DID NOT work out well. i have bonding in my teeth, it formed a hole in my tooth...like a gash

Has anyone tried the new Listerine Whitening Strips yet? If anyone has, does it really work? I'm thinking of trying those out instead of Crest White Strips, but I don't know if the Listerine Strips cause some tooth sensitivity too.

Oh man, so true. I'd suggest against weird things that make your teeth look white very fast but damage or weaken them. What's so great about white teeth that falls out of your mouth or has holes?

Just go with those white strips or better toothpaste.

whatever you do, don't do whitening too often. cos it weakens the teeth, it's acidic and so your teeth 'dissolves' REALLY SLOWLY. but it still does.

stay away from black tea or coffee and smoking cuz those are the biggest teeth stainers lol. You can use a whitening toothpaste and chew whitening gum. Or you could do it the fast way with crest white strips, I've used them before they really work.

how ironic this topic is around.. i've actually begun using something called white-t that is imported from hong kong and i've been on it for a good 4 weeks and have noticed incredible results.. i can't sat whether my teeth get brighter and whiter faster than crest whitestrips, but i can say i like the idea of getting all my teeth white instead of just the straight visible front ones.. white-t is a powdered toothpaste with no peroxide and is acid-free.. quite an interesting product. i'd definitely recommend it.. the adverts are all over hong kong magazines right now and seems to be the new way to get teeth whitened over there! check it out!
