Students with a University e-mail address can get Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate for $60. It retails for $679.99, however, Microsoft is doing an awesome deal. You'll be able to get it for $60 as long as you have a student university e-mail address.

thanks for the info. I already have Microsoft Office 2003 student/teacher edition and I'm pretty happy with it so I dunno if I should go get this. But it is only $60. Gah so tempting! I don't know what to do tears.gif
Cagalli
Wow...I don't know whether I should get it or not. It's an awesome deal but I don't use those products often.
silver-typhoon
YES!!!! lol FINALLY a perk for spending thousands per year in university.
xjuliephanx
Universities with tech stores also offer it with deeper discounts. My university (which is an extremely SMALL one I might add) sells ultimate for $25 and Office 2007 Pro for $20. Of course I got both free from Microsoft for being part of the powertogether.com team tongue.gif Check with your school and see if they have a partnership with MS volume licensing!
ngpossible
thanks for the info. gosh this promotion is gonna run for such a long time; meaning bill gates can afford something like this and still profit!

Sounds like an awesome deal, but I feel like there's a catch to it...so I'm very iffy about buying it. ph34r.gif
I think I'll wait it out a little bit and see how things turn out.
grainsofrain
My college has this thingy where they sell tech products to us for cheap but I can't recall the actual discounted prices but still not interested. Not exactly used to the new version :/.
SaRaNgHaE1027
it's free in my school....cuz we paid the technology fee.
peelie
My university sells this new version of Microsoft Office for 15.00 - it's awesome! BUT, the version isn't Ultimate - just the regular professional office, but its still one heck of a deal, especially since it retails for like $500(price from microsoft website).
zizanger
scared....scam?...
oh well..the deal is too good to be missed out....XD i'll try it...
peelie
Well just cuz I'm a dork I also signed up for this to add to my new laptop..hehehe I just wanted Microsoft Ultimate on it. Anywayz, I just ordered it and it WORKS (not a scam). I actually paid the extra $12 (and some cents) so that I get the CD copy of it. As soon as I ordered (I used a credit card) I was given a download link to download the .exe file and the product key that I need to use...so I downloaded it asap, and it works great w00t.gif

Now I'm just waiting for that CD to come through my mail....

PS: the reason I bought this Ultimate version although I already had the Professional version that i originally bought in my computer is because I installed the Professional on three computers (my desktop, my family's home desktop, and my sister's laptop). After I installed it in three computers, it said that I could no longer use the product key i had, so...i bought this one.
je suis prest
got it today! :] it finished downloading like 10 minutes ago and it's great!
