Students with a University e-mail address can get Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate for $60. It retails for $679.99, however, Microsoft is doing an awesome deal. You'll be able to get it for $60 as long as you have a student university e-mail address.

Universities with tech stores also offer it with deeper discounts. My university (which is an extremely SMALL one I might add) sells ultimate for $25 and Office 2007 Pro for $20. Of course I got both free from Microsoft for being part of the powertogether.com team

Check with your school and see if they have a partnership with MS volume licensing!

I think I'll wait it out a little bit and see how things turn out.

My university sells this new version of Microsoft Office for 15.00 - it's awesome! BUT, the version isn't Ultimate - just the regular professional office, but its still one heck of a deal, especially since it retails for like $500(price from microsoft website).

Well just cuz I'm a dork I also signed up for this to add to my new laptop..hehehe I just wanted Microsoft Ultimate on it. Anywayz, I just ordered it and it WORKS (not a scam). I actually paid the extra $12 (and some cents) so that I get the CD copy of it. As soon as I ordered (I used a credit card) I was given a download link to download the .exe file and the product key that I need to use...so I downloaded it asap, and it works great
Now I'm just waiting for that CD to come through my mail....
PS: the reason I bought this Ultimate version although I already had the Professional version that i originally bought in my computer is because I installed the Professional on three computers (my desktop, my family's home desktop, and my sister's laptop). After I installed it in three computers, it said that I could no longer use the product key i had, so...i bought this one.
