Chinese name: 阿兰·达瓦卓玛 (Alan Dawazhuoma)
Alan is a Tibetan/Chinese singer and Erhu player from Sichuan province. She made her Japanese language debut in 2007 under avex in Japan with the single Ashita e no Sanka.
After graduating from her musically oriented high school, she enrolled in one of the most prestigious music school in China, the China National Chinese Opera and Dance Drama Company (解放軍芸術学院); where Lei Ying and Zhong Bao of 12 Girls Band were also being taught. She released a Chinese album in 2005.
Alan was scouted when Avex China held auditions in Beijing, and went on to debut with a Japanese language single in November 2007, titled Ashita e no Sanka. She is currently still studying Japanese, and only has a basic grasp of the language.

Wow , she can hit notes really high. You can tell that her chorus in that mv u posted is typical tibetan/chinese style.

LOL i thought Alan was a guy. anyways her voice reminds me of that sing who sang that gundam seed song - "field of hope" but a lot shaper. (

the song do kinda sound like classical chn mountain songs during the chorus

She's AMAZING XD I love the (Tibetan?) 'native', natural influence they put in her song- was it written especially for her voice?

^ the mini album... is not hers. It's Rin's. A japanese instrumental group. And she's only featured in one song.
I listened to the song and is good, but she didn't showcase her voice that much >.<
Her single debuted in #69 and sold 2062 copies.
Kinda sad but true >.<
Hope her second single will do better!

Um, dude, there's more competition in China as well. You go where you can get any sort of contract. But hey, she'd probably love to have some sold-out concerts in China if she could get it.

It feels a little odd when I hear her singing Japanese in her mv, and but then there's that traditional Chinese tune in the background.. reminds me of Black Pearl's like... first mv...
