So what are your likes and dislike about your au-to-mo-bile (aka car)?

For me (2004 Subaru WRX STi)

likes:
all wheel drive.
turbocharger.
boxer engine with its boxer rumble.
strong transmission.

dislikes:
fuel consumption.
spoiler is flimsy and obstructing view.
turbocharger is nearly maxed out on boost.
engine not reliable after 400 awhp.

2.5 rs gc8 is my dream car

might sound bit silly but the whole Subaru admiration came from my bf introducing me to his car
i love my boyfriends car

i'm guessing that your boyfriend drives a 2005 WRX
1.) the hood-scoop gives it away.
2.) the headlight housing is blacked out which the 2004 model isn't.
3.) the brake calipers aren't Brembo.
4.) those side skirts don't look like STi but the foglight covers are.
(i'm just taking a guess.)

My ideal car would be a 4-door sport sedan that isn't too bad on gas and RWD.

what world do you live on? at first your weird rsx obssesion was ok because you just got the car, but now give it a rest. every post you make you say something dumb like "too freaking fast". its not funny anymore

i like that if i wreck it, i wouldn't really care
it's old but it's my first car therefore a lot of good memories
i can see my blind spots unlike my new civic

i dislike how it doesn't have airbags

'08 Honda Civic

i like the digital gauges
i like that it's a two door because i dont like the look of the civic sedans, specifically the taillights
i like that it has a 12 volt power outlet
i like the airbags

i dislike how hard it is to see my blind spots
i dislike that it's an automatic

2006 Honda Accord Sedan LX, white

Likes:
Very comfortable - soft shocks
Nice a/c - gets cold/hot fast (after start)
The stock sound system is really good ^^
MPG is pretty good - 24/34.
Roomy!

Dislikes:
100% stock, including the steel rims + plastic covers. (except intake resonator removed)
The body is also really high. looks kind of funny.. getting shocks + lowering springs soon.
Currently no window tint. 100% clear glass windows. D: will get tint soon.
Soft shocks - slower turns.
No integrated GPS. ;__; (I get lost easily.. need to buy a system sometime)

2000 VW Jetta

Haha, my new Integra, as it sits, will draw more attention than your RSX.

I've never liked my Accord. It got me around, but it had nothing to be excited about. It felt boring when I drive it.

My new Teggy is making me love driving again.

- No low-end torque.
- FWD with 60/40 weight distribution.

- Interior plastics look cheap.
- Road noise.

- Silver is too common.

It looks and feels fast but doesn't actually go that fast. Meh... I still like it.

- it's mine ^^;
- has gps
- 6 cd changer =_=lol
- exterior and interior are pretty imo

Dislikes:
- only takes premium gas
- not ulev
- no a/c or heat vent in the backseats so it's either too hot or too cold

2005 BMW 2.5i Z4

LIKES:
-Great exterior design, love the tapered back, huge improvement over the Z3
-Power convertible top
-Run flat tires, i've gotten 2 flats already this year but the run flats worked great!
-Great sound system
-Decent acceleration
-Heated seats
-Rain sensing wipers

DISLIKES:
-Standard headlights are too dim
-Buttons and dash seem old and clunky
-Engine needs an upgrade like what the 1-series is coming with
-Only 1 Disc CD player
-Tires cost like $350 a piece to replace
-I don't like the orange LED's
-No compass on the mirror

2005 Pontiac GTO

Likes:

The low, deep rumble of ^
Incredibly refined for a "muscle car" ...just love being in it, driving it.
Sleek styling
Red Interior
Incredibly comfortable seating (and leg room), both front and rear
Rides smooth, but has decent handling abilities.
Rare car, not a million of them on the roads.
Perfect condition, save for a few rock chips.
Little touches here and there that makes it stand out from an ordinary GTO
Great looking exhaust outlets, stock
Garage queen

Dislikes:
14 MPG
There are still people who don't know what it is
"Decent" handling can only go so far when it weighs 3700 pounds


1997 Acura Integra GSR

Likes:

Incredibly fun to drive
Reliable
Looks good
Plenty of power

^You got a nice pony stable MC Muffin. I've heard of a GTO. Great Teacher Onizuka? The old ones were beasts and the new ones are sleepers. I'll admit the late Integra totally inspired the late Celica. Upgrade its shocks and get the 98+ facelift.



I added LSD to an underpowered FWD car. I'd be lying if I said I got it for improved cornering and even treadwear... it comes standard in Japan models and I just had to have the same JDM goodness. boost, why didn't you invest in one several hundred horsepowers ago? You could use one more than me.

i get massive torque steer in my car and i have around 320 to the wheels... and i have an lsd... there is no way you are going to avoid torque steer with a powerful FWD car man... if i can say i have massive torque steer in my car, and boost has my HP doubled, and 150 more ft lbs of torque, i can't fathom how bad his must be.

If I'm ever looking up GTO videos on youtube, I get that anime more than half the time.

It will be, I took a quick look under, the bumper has screws screwing in the bumper from the outside. And the screw heads are shaved off.

Gas not an issue? I sure as heck would want one... Any problems as of yet?

when i go on the freeway and hit like around 80, i can hear the wind coming in through the top. i dont know if this is normal but i dont really enjoy it.
the car doesnt lock automatically.

I drive an 04 Highlander completely stock.

lol the only thing that bothers me is that I have to drive 70+ miles to college everyday and gas prices are killing me.

I drive a 1995 Volvo 850 GLT:

The good stuff:
Very roomy and very comfortable on the inside and strangely compact on the outside.
Everything works and drives fine for a 180K mile car (sure doesn't feel like 180K)
Built like a tank (and i've crashed it/accidents enough times to know (survived every one of them)).
Very maneuverable for a mid-size FWD car... 33ft turn radius.
Easy to maintain and repair (tho not necessarily cheap to purchase parts)

The Bad stuff:
Disconnected, heavy steering feel.
Fixing rattles (after 180K) in the car is time consuming...
Takes premium gas (19 gal tank) and only get 14-16MPG overall, with not enough performance to justify that.
Very limited aftermarket performance products (which are very expensive because its limited).

2005 Honda S2000

Pros:

IMHO: Sexy
Dont see TOO many on the roads
Good handling capabilities from factory
HIDs are amazing

Cons:

I am absolutely insane when it comes to my car. I will not go to TONS of places because I do not want to park it and leave it somewhere.
Top gets slashed (Had it happen once)
Antenna gets stolen all the time (Damn you tC and Z f3gs!)
Parts for this car are absolutely ridiculous. ANYTHING you buy is minimum $1000 at COST! But Ill still drain my bank account to get it cause Im retarded.

2008 Subaru Outback 2.5i

Pros:
-heated seats
-upgraded Subaru Cloth seats (i don't get shocked if i touch the door)
-good fuel economy
-17" wheels (same as tribeca)
-good acceleration for this type of car
-comfy and roomy on the front side
-A LOT OF BUTTONS TO PUSH =]

Cons:
-back side looks still the same wish it would slant in more
-no cd changer
-no navigation options
-back seat room might be a little tight for people who are over 5'11" (i'm over 6ft so i hab to scoot back)
-sometimes i feel like an old person driving it, but sometimes i don't (50/50)

1994 celica gt fastback

likes:
-color-aqua green lol, so easy to spot in a parking lot, but then again its an ugly as color.
-it has spunk, not much power but it will get up and go when it needs to
-handles fairly well
-big trunk
-can hold 4 people sort of..
-manual
-body shape, i prefer this style to the next gen.
-a 2000lb tow limit! for such a small car

Dislikes:
- it has 196k miles,!! its still going strong though
-my gosh, i need to fix my effin shocks, getting tired of the *eeky eeky eeky wah wah* Only happens in right turns to lol
-the interior is welll sparse...could use at least a cd player only got the casette...
-the color, wish it was black
-people making fun of my old as car.. T-T
-only 130~ hp, but its got the torque to pull.

likes:
- it works perfectly fine even though its got many many miles on it
- spacious for me
- love how it handles
- panda accord (white and black)

dislikes:
- the oil leaks
- on the back corners of the bumper some paint has been scraped off cause of a small accident
- the board in the trunk of my car is gone
- the window alignment is off when it comes back up

- spoiler too goddamn heavy and hinders the view. but it's mostly my fault anyways
- interior panels feel a bit weak. I think I cracked my center console already.

suicide doors & adding oil = overrated.

with so many dislikes though, I sometimes wonder why the hell I bought it in the first place.
