Rules and Must Know
-----------------------------------
1) One person is allowed to collab up to 4 songs at first. Next, you are only allowed to do 2 more songs and that's it. If you are auditioning for the 5th song, I will not put your name under the song first until your 4th song is completed, but audition clip will be saved. You can choose to stop collabing at 4 songs, but just remember, MAXIMUM songs = 6!

2) If the parts have been taken and you missed the 1st round of audition, don't worry, I'll put you into the 2nd round.I repeat, there will NOT only be 1 version of collab.

3) Any request of songs, post in the thread. DBSK songs only!

4) PM me your audition clip of the parts you want to sing. You can sing it with instrumental or accapella. I should be able to hear your voice clearly. Any format is good enough. Make sure the links work before sending me. (No megaupload links please!) You have to PM me the clip before I can decide to let you collab in that song. I can reserve spot for you but position will be replace if clip not turned in within one week.

5) Deadlines will be post once a song is FULL. I suggested you download the lyrics before deciding which parts to sing as changes are made to some of them. If you see parts like (Red+Green), that means those singing red and green parts will sing together for that line. Black parts - everybody sings. If you know how to harmonize, that will be good.

6) Final Clips have to be accapella. Youtube links are ok for audition clips, but NO for final clips. It should be uploaded to downloadable links (NO megaupload!). Please be sure that final clips have only your voice, no funny clickings, coughing, giggling or sounds made from you shifting papers.

7) I am not picky on choosing who can sing the best here. Basic singing techniques you must have, be on pitch. If your voice belongs to a lower range, do not choose a song that is too high and vice versa.

8) If you want to increase a pitch to sing. You have to PM your collab mates to discuss about it. Please be nice to each other. =)

9) This is a 'BOYS AND GIRLS COLLAB'. No more putting the girls in one group and guys in another. Guys, you are welcome to join.

10) No harsh criticisms here. I believe soompiers are friendly people.

11) These are group collaborations. There will not be any solos.

12) Names appeared below are those who have passed audition.

13) Please note that its more of a first come first serve basis. You maybe better than the person but I can't replace you if you requested me to.

Missing/ignoring datelines
I realised there are singers who did not submit the clips to the mixers on time. If you think that you could not submit them on time, please do inform the MIXER and ME, so that there is sufficient time to get a replacement. If you disappeared without any notice, the collab is never going to finish and that is not fair to the rest of the singers who signed up. I may be away, but you can drop a reply here and tell us if you are confident in submitting the clips or not. I will not get angry if you just tell me you are dropping out and what not. Just keep me informed. A simple PM or a reply will do.

If I find that you are ignoring the datelines for too many times without valid reasons, you will be blacklisted from my collaborations. I don't mean to be harsh but that's what I will be doing in future in order to be fair to the other singers. I do not want the 'blacklist' to appear in this thread neither do you want your name to be listed here right? So, co-operate with each other and I believe collaborations are still as fun as ever.


New to recording?

Tips:
1) You need a mic.
2) Download programs like free sound recorder to record your voice. Save it to the folder you want it to be.
(Other programs do have function of recording too.)
3) Noise removal of hissing sound can be done by many programs such as audacity, goldwave and adobe audition.
Personal recommendation - Adobe Audition.
4) If you are planning to send your recordings to someone, upload to internet servers.
Example: mediafile, sendspace, yousendit, rapidshare...

Stripesoflove, you have to sing it without instrumental. Which means, the clip you send to us is purely your voice only. Of course you have to listen to the music while singing. That's your choice. But just remember you only PM us your singing clips without the music. So that when we do mixing, the whole song will not turn out to be so havoc when music is all over the place. =)
