Samsung went to CES as well but not for the same bragging reasons most companies went for. You can’t help but love this ultra-thin i8 design, however. It features a 8-megapixel sensor and a glossy finish, and comes equipped with a 3x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD monitor. It support MP3 playback with the slideshow feature that plays audio while images pass by, and can watch MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV and ASF files on the LCD, as well as shoot MPEG-4 video at 800 x 592 resolution. You’ll have to wait until February to but this $299 for this beauty.

The side view above certainly doesn't look "ultra-thin". Am I missing something or is the cutesy design the selling point?

Sorry to dig this out from... some pages back, but does anyone know if this camera is available in Canada, and where it would be sold if it were?
