1. First I would pay off all my debt and loans (for school)and also my parent's and my brothers'.
2. I think I would also like to invest by buying some land around Santa Cruz because there are always more and more students going to UCSC, and so I'll just build some apartments and take their rent money from them to make more money >:DD
3. Save a chunk of that money for my "dream" wedding.
4. Give a chunk of that money to friends and families.
5. I would like to donate a huge chunk to charity, but I don't know which one is good.
6. Finally visit Dubai!

Well, how about it you guys? What would you do if you won the lottery?
And also, what are good organizations/charity to donate to, if you are planning to donate (If you had that kind of money)?

i would spend it all on lottery tickets!

i would definitely invest in properties and stock options.
after that i want to just shop for a good day.
then after that i would donate a chunk to children's hospital (i did before already!)
buy a franchise (not sure which one yet, preferably one that lets me sell some of my own cupcakes!)
just make my life and family's life easier =]
keep living the normal life, nothing too extravagent.

How much are we talking about first lol.

1. Buy my favorite football (soccer team) Reading F.C and invest in big name players and make them a world-wide brand, just like Manchester United F.C.

2. Put my money into a high interest bank account (swiss) so you wont get taxed lol.

3. Like you guys, invest in properties...worldwide.

4. Own one of those (country) Islands in Dubai

5. Start my own design company and mass produce whatever I want.

6. Donate money to different charities.

AHHH, one can only dream LOL

After the government has gotten its lion's share, taken care of the rest of my debts, and begrudgingly paid off family and friends that seem to think I owed them something (just to get them off my back), I'd probably spend what I have left on a Ben & Jerry's pint of Chunky Monkey ice cream.

If I have enough money:

1) Pay off my loans as well as my parents'
2) Buy parents a nice property so they can invest in it
3) Sell our current cars and buy my family members and myself nice cars
4) Open several savings accounts
5) Help out relatives and friends
6) Make donations to charities

I am selfish, though. I put the donations to charities the last.

You're gonna need a lot more than a lottery winning to help Reading- they're headed for relegation.
