- DO NOT QUOTE IMAGES!
- POST LINKS TO IMAGES when requesting. (it will take long to load and looks sloppy)
- When making banners for ppl who TR make sure they are UNDER 40kb and are no bigger than 400x175 in width and height!! (the artist's work will go to waste because i'll have to take the banner out)
- NO SPAMMING! i will not tolerate spamming... PM the person instead! if you want to post saying the person made something nice say WHY it looks nice not just "nice." these one word replies are useless.
- - CREDIT: if the person is nice enough to make you the banner at least credit unless they say it's okay.
- If the person makes you something and you don't like it, don't hurt their feelings.. i mean they took their time to make it, you can at least use it for 2 days (unless they state that it's okay if you don't use it that's fine or else emphasize you would like an advanced person to make it and show an example if you must.)
- REPLY TO THE TOPIC WHEN YOU RECEIVED THE REQUEST! this is so i know i can close the thread!

SIGNATURE RULES
- Maximum 4 lines of text (spaces count)
- Maximum of 2 banners/images (blinkies count)
- Each banner/image must not exceed 400 pixel in WIDTH and 175 in HEIGHT.
- Each banner/image must not exceed 40KB in size.
(You can right click an image an hit "properties" and you will see the size of the image. It has to be less than 40kb or 40,960 bytes. It's not that hard. THERE WILL BE NO WARNINGS. so don't cry if you violate the rules & we delete your sig and/or get warnings.)

SECTION 01: MAKING REQUEST(S)

So be very careful. NOTE that if the person who is taking requests states that he/she will also make other graphic works other than avatars, banners, blinkies or fanfic posters, it is ok to make requests for them.
02. Provide all the information that people might need if they are trying to execute your request(s) in your first post of the topic.
This probably is a good idea, especially if you are trying to get what you want faster. Basic information that you might want to include in your first post might be the size (prefer in pixel unit), font color, font size, name of the font, links to the images that are to be used, text that you want to be included, colors of graphic, etc.
03. Do NOT post images, include the links to the images instead.
You might be wondering, 'Hmmm, what is she talking about? Why?' Well, let me explain. If you post images that you want people to use, sometimes, they probably won't show up. Also, it will be easier for everyone to scroll less when they read the topics because by providing the LINKS to the images, it will decrease the time of uploading the page(s). So, I am asking you to do a small favor for everyone. Please, feel free to post more than one link of image. I won't stop you there.
04. Do NOT double post to bump your topic on purpose.
OK. I know some of you are guilty under this rule. I've seen this happening all the time. So here is the deal. Please wait at least 5 days before you post something like this: "anyone? I really need this! " If NO ONE replies to your topic saying that they will help you with your request, then I will PERSONALLY bump your topic FOR YOU or add you to the pinned 'help' topic. This is my promise to you so PLEASE, for the love of...soompi, do not double post. [For xanga skin requests, I will not do this since it requires making the skin AND writing the html codes. In other words, your request will not be bumped by me even if no one fulfills your request]I WILL DELETE YOUR SECOND/THIRD/ETC POSTS. YOU WILL BE WARNED
05. CREDIT THEM! CREDITS!
Please, credit whoever helped you out. If I find you not doing this, there will be a prize for you to pay. (A personal one-to-one talk time with MINTFRESH included. Fear me. *rawr*) So please, credit them.
06. If you are going to use the work that someone made for you, please post a reply saying that you are going to.
It is only because I will close any request topic if it already has been taken care of.
07. Save the work into your own server.
If you are going to use someone's work, please save it under your own server because they will, most likely, ask you to do this anyway. Don't have a server? Click here to get a free space to host your images.

SECTION 02: TAKING REQUEST(S)
01. If you are going to try to execute someone's request, please post a reply saying that you are going to try.
This is to prevent Section 1, #04 from happening. Also, this will make the person who is making the request very very happy.
02. If you are making a topic for taking requests from others, please label it.
Most of you guys are following this rule already. Something simple like "Taking Requests" or "[TR]" should do.
03. Make all avatars, banners, and blinkies under 40kb.
This isn't my personal rule. It's the soompi rule. Any avatar and signature should be 40kb or under. If you don't do this, your work will be a waste. How can you check? After you saving the work that you did in your hard drive, look for the file size under its properties. For Windows users, right-click on the work, and select 'properties.'
04. Remember, post your own work!
SECTION 03: IN GENERAL
01. You cannot steal their stuff! No stealing.
I haven't seen this happening yet but I will prevent this from happening. You cannot use any of other's works unless you made request(s) for them. Here is a scenario. As you lurk around this section, you find a particular avatar very cute and attractive. However, member A made a requst for that particular avatar and member B made the avatar for only member A. Even though you are aware of this, you REALLY want to use that avatar so you 'borrow' it and use it as your avatar. This is a no-no. If you want to use the avatar, ask the person who made it through Personal Message (PM).
02. No member bashing!
03. No quoting images.
Don't you find it annoying? Seeing people quoting the same image over and over and over and over again. Just mention the name of the person who made it.
04. Be polite. =]
05. Follow the soompi rules!
Your avatar and any images in your signature have to be 40kb or smaller. You can have only upto two (2) images in your signature (yes, a tiny blinkie is considered as an image as well). You can have upto four (4) lines of text in your signature. 5) banner size should not be bigger than 400x175.IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THESE RULES, I WILL GIVE YOU WARNING. I usually don't do this right away. I PM people and give them three (3) days to fix the problem. Due to members' suggestions, I will not give any grace period of time for them to fix their signatures or avatars. I will be giving them warning and remove everything that they have. Also, refer to THIS page
06. DO NOT DOUBLE POST.
Posting the same content twice or just posting twice or more in a row in general.
07. Any topic(s) and/or post(s) not following these rules will be deleted...FOREVER!
