So why do everyone use facebook? Try to be specific =P I think this would be an interesting discussion.
I personally use it to browse through my friend's photos and humorous comments that go along with them.

It's honestly way easier and convenient for me.. vs. myspace.
I don't want to deal w/ codes etc. I'm lazy??
And most college kids use it anyway~
along w/ groups/clubs/events so i won't be dead clueless when an event comes up on campus. =)
Easier/faster to upload pics~ the applications are fun and.. it's just convenient!! Basically.

because i got bored of myspace and no one was using it much now
and noticed people starting to use facebook
so i basically hopped on the boat..

i use it to keep in touch with people and see what my friends are up to now that we've all separated.

Catch up with old friends, make new ones and snoop through friend's photos.. sometimes.

I kind of want to get rid of my facebook because it wastes my time (I browse through it a lot) but I don't want to lose all my friends I've added (like I have friends from elementary school added and stuff so I don't want to lose them...)

I use facebook to keep in touch / share photos with old friends, family etc. Mines on private so no one can search for me. I pick who I wanna add and i don't get annoying randoms trying to add me.

Honestly? It's the easiest way to find out what my friends/acquaintances are doing.

my initial purpose was to have one for soompi ( one of my soompi friends convinced me to have one) then all of a sudden all sorts of people i know started adding me....


so o_o its for both now. i use it to talk chat, and its jsut ALOT better than myspace

But I would guess that people enjoy these kind of online fads to keep in touch with friends, especially after high school since some go to different colleges.

Having a facebook is a really good way to keep in touch with old friends and people I met in school. Also, It's full of people I actually know =-=

i use it to stay in touch with my high school frie-- ah what the hell... i use it to meet girls that dont live in vancouver, so i have a place to crash when i go to New York or something.

BAH! i deactivated it because it was getting way too distractin and i hated how it suddenly got infested with all these high schoolers. facebook used to be only for college students. disgusting. ( no offense to you hs people)

at first.. i made it to get in contact with my cousin... but she erased hers for some reason and then i found out a couple of my friends had one so they added me.. & then more people started joining!

I have a facebook because most of my friends use it, and like most people said, it's a way to keep in touch.
Plus I find it really easy to use and it's a way to keep you updated on events happening at school, or events arranged by your friends.

not necessarily safer .... facebook is notorious to just hand over yourprivate profile to companys and stuff o_o if thye request and a whole bunch of crazy stuff

i know i got stalked on there once, to the max, that person even started hurrassing my friends. but it was my own fault for not blocking it. -__- but i didnt know they were doing that?!?!! thats crazy. but it is better than myspace tho.

My friends told me to make one since every college student seem to have one so I did. Now I use it to keep in touch with friends, but haven't been checking for awhile. Kind of tired of it, been thinking bout deleting it.

I use Facebook mostly to catch up with old friends back in junior high or high school.
Or to snoop around & check out other people's pictures hahaha

yah i like it more than myspace for sure. but i've read way too many stories where o_o they just hand over your pass word so yoru employer can see whaats up with you and stuff its scary O_O

Facebook for me is freindster+myspace+find old friends website mixed. LOL

Well its for me to keep track of my friends and to also be able to communicate with my college friends. Believe it or not but facebook has started to be the next messenger thing. It is soo much easier to message my friends on facebook than it is to catch them on their messenger.

To keep in touch with my friends and to see what everyone's up to. It's an awesome networking tool, and it's interesting seeing how people are connected to one another (like a friend I know from high school was friends with a friend i knew from NY, randomly). Also good to spread the word about events and find out about events, too.

I deleted most of the personal info off of my profile though (like interests, music, etc.) because Facebook uses that information to do that personalized marketing crap I hate. I also made my profile private so random people can't view my stuff. And I don't ever friend complete strangers because it's creepy. Every once in a while I get a random friend request from some men which I immediately deny.

I hate myspace... I deleted mine. I also deleted my friendster long ago since no one I know uses it anymore.

i think its much easier and less spamy then myspace, i use it to keep track of people that aren't here and there in my life anymores.

everyone in college use facebook.
i was persuaded to get one too.
so i got one. & i like it! ;]
it's not as complicated and childish as myspace.

It's neater and easier to use than Friendster / Myspace. LOL
