- good camera (hoping for a 5mp)
- useful functions/functionality
- FAST TEXTING ( )
- wi-fi (am I being too hopeful? )
- not too square :x
- nothing over $400 (KU990 is an exception)

I kinda want an import phone :x
but I want a GOOD keyboard (I'm a textoholic )

- is it possible to make it so that my incoming texts go directly to my mircoSD?
- mp3 ringtones; do they start at the beginning of the song? or can I cut/edit?
- do the songs have to be stored on the phone memory for it to be a ringtone? or can I pull it straight from the mircoSD?
- cellphone strap loophole? T-T (I'm guessing it's a "no," for KU900 though... )

There is a inbuilt composer application, for editing your needs ^^

for the features you want in a phone,you're going to spend a lot more than 400

i would say the only phone that probably fits your description is the ku990. i really wanted it before it even came out but it doesnt have the 850 band or american 3G, so if those are important to you then you should consider it

if you don't need a 5mp there are tons more possibilities. i think the samsung f700 i think looks pretty good and seems good for texting. but again i dont think there is an 850 band or american 3g.

I did a gsmarena phone search for you with the 5 mp camera and the wifi requirement and this is what I got: Tada!

They don't look that good for texting though. ._. and I didn't get the KU990 in the answers. (Oh, it has no wifi that's why lol).

What's your carrier? It's easier to look for phones that will work for you if I know your carrier.

3G is a network used by AT&T for really fast internet or data exchanging connections (someone correct me if I'm wrong ^^''). T-mobile has been trying to make one but hasn't succeeded yet. However if you have AT&T you're a lot more limited in imported phones. The KU990 has the capacity for 3G but only tri-band so you can only use it with T-mobile.

i'd say wait for the smasung F400 to come out ~

Lol, you're welcome. Your internet speed may be a little slow but other than that an unlocked KU990 should work great with T-mobile. Just also read a lot of reviews on the phone before you buy it to be sure that you want. Look are the functionality and easiness of the phone. Plus good quality. Especially since you're paying so much for a phone. I would go so far as to put gps on that phone if I were you. It would stink so badly if you lost the phone. Cuz I lost my new phone within a month and learned later that I could've had gps and found it right away.
