So just I'm just bored and decided to make a topic. Once your current car is no longer functioning or you just want a new car, what car would you want?
be realistic please
Once my 8 is gone, I'd definately consider the evo X or lancer ralliart because they're practical performance cars (though i do wish they had a 6th gear for the highways). Other than that maybe the camaro just because its so bad @$$ and i love chevy muscle cars.

I've actually never thought of that since it hasn't even been a year since I got my car (Acura TSX). I hope it's a BMW but it won't happen for a very long time.

If my miata dies...
Probably rebuild. The Miata engine's are plenty and cheap.
If I didn’t rebuild... I would probably try to buy a Nissan 240sx or maybe a EJ6/EG6 Honda Civic.
I would LIKE to get an S2000 or a FD Rx-7
If my daily driver dies or gets taken away (family car – family needs)....I would still probably an EJ6/EG6 Civic, maybe an EP3 Civic. I quit luxury cars, its just not engaging, I don't want to drive it. I rather ride in the back seat, reading or sleep.

Another S2000. Probably an AP2. I wouldn't mind a M3.

I'd probably just replace the motor or look for a RX7 2nd Gen, Civic hatch, or an Evo 9.

Hopefully a Cayman S. If not, maybe an '03 is300 with a B7 A4 as a daily. But that's probably gonna be a bit of time away.

Saw an Evolution X tonight. Trunk space is small. I mean small. I don't really like the look of it or the acceleration. It's not as raw as my car stock, power wise. Good thing the seats are comfortable though. Overall - unimpressed.

great car except for the fact that you cant get them with a diff, and that pisses me off to no end. i actually like driving caymans more than 911's (not counting gt3 which i havnt driven yet)

Evo X is worst then a EVO IX. I love how the front of the car looks though , everyone is dissapointed on the Evo X
phantompc4
Mar 9 2008, 12:13 PM
yeah how can you buy a car as expensive as the cayman s and not have it with a differential.
i just like the evo x because its just more civilized. lotsa interior room and great performance. if i had a family and had to drive a practical car everyday while wanting the performance the evo x would be my pick. the old evos were just too hard to drive for everyday. and the sti is just not my taste. the old stis were good but the interior was horrible and it looked too ostentatious.

Since my current car is dead or at least thats what the insurance company wants to declare my car, I am currently looking into getting a turbocharged version of my car, either a Volvo 850 T-5 or a S70 T-5 (if I can the S70 at the right price).
Actually the Toyota Prius isn't so bad, just that there are some minor issues (blind spots) that i'm not so fond of (drove it many times). Then again, i'm not sure if I really want to be blowing all that $$$ for a new Prius. Gas efficiency isn't top priority for me.

I just put some suspension mods in my Miata, im not done tuning it quite yet. Gotta get a smaller steeringwheel for my thunderthighs. A new seat and a roll cage. I still gotta put my new top on too. All in all, it's not done YET, but it will soon be, then I can DD it!

BMW 335i or Audi A5
would be the two choices for me after my current car is dead.
But I doubt my car's gonna die anytime soon. Honda's live for a longggggggg time

my toyota celica is currently at 196990 miles.... if i drive like i am currently driving, i dont think my car will die anytime soon. although these cars are known to last till 230k so... i got quite a bit to go. but nevertheless once it does go i would be realistic and get something like a 05-06 rsx-s or if i want to go more upscale a new g35 sedan. but yea once that day comesss i wouldnt know how to feel.

how much does it cost to fill up that tank and how long does a tank of gas usually last for you?

i'm embarrassed to answer but here goes
full tank is around 75-80 bucks, lasts me about 4-5 days max (I drive about 2 hours a day)
the suburban does have a sweet spot in my heart. it's killing me softly.
