I have an almost brand new ipod classic 160 gb silver. i got it about a month ago...

and today, when i turned it on, i realized the interface isn't working...usually, the ipod screen is divided into 2 parts, the left side has the menu and the right half usually have a photo slideshow from the photos you saved on your ipod. Well, right now instead of the slideshow, it only has a grey screen and tells me how many songs i have 0_0 (no slideshow, no photos, nothing!)...and same for the other functions, videos, etc, the photo/video preview slide show would not show up...i just checked and my photos would sometimes show up but sometimes just gray thumbnails!!


does anyone have this problem? please help me!!

If you have a copy of your music...
Do a restore. Erase everything in the ipod and start fresh. If you get the problems again go to the apple store and use the warranty.

Make an appointment online on the apple website and take the ipod to the genius bar. They'll be able to help you. If its not fixed, they'll give you a replacement right there.
