I just bought this Tamagotchi last wednesday...V5
I now have 3 of them: RakuRaku Dinokun, Tamagotchi V4.5 and Tamagotchi/Familitchi V5 which is newest version



I think V4.5 is the best one so far

LOL i bought like 3 of these tamagotchis a few months ago, Version 4 & 4.5.

yeah, it kinda brought back some of my childhood memories...I had my first one when I was in grade 3...I think

I had a tamagotchi craze like last year and ordered all these tamagotchis through eBay and whatnot. I got over it fast though

Hehe. I remember those; i used to go crazy over mine, but i always ended up killing it. :X Looking at them makes me want one again.

im scared to touch the new ones, they look so much more complicated than the original (although theyre probably not, since its still for little kids)....

with the V5 you got to raise 3 tama all at the same...it's just my 3rd day today of playing with it...
...after I got to play and explored all the feature of V4.5 i put it back in it's box, hopefully with this new one

I got one two months ago. Got boring after a week. xD
It's rather high tech now. They can have babies and everything.

I got one last week. I always have my phases with Tamagotchi sometimes they last sometimes they don't-most of the time they don't.

But I like the new one out, I own it

It looks really boring though, compared to the other advanced entertainment technology we have now.

Tamogotchis!! They bring back so may memories. I used to have one where you can tap on the screen and play with your pet. Too bad it broke. I still want one but I'm in college so a college student seen with a Tamogotchi would make me seem kind of childish.

This brings back a lot of memories...i used to have like 20 of those when I was younger. I can't believe they still sell them. XD

I brought mine, the white one on the picture on a class that we had last thursday...
I'm working now as a nurse, one of my co-workers saw me playing with it...and he was like...hey isn't that the virtual/digi pet thing...
and i said yeah...and he said cool... haha, well, I was the youngest in our group of new grads...=P

yeah, it seem childish but i just want to play with it again...^-^

i used to play with those a lot too... my moms friend gave me like a dozen of those, and i remember taking out the rubber buttons and using them as erasers ^^

Same I used to have one like it; but it was half dog & half cat (two in one) hehe

I had one waaaaaaay back when they were in like....pre-1998? I loved those things, but at the same time hated them. I always ended up with an ugly duckling even after doing my best to like feed and play with the darn thing. I eventually got frustrated and made me a virtual omelette.

I wish I still had my brother's old tamagotchi,
But it broke a long long time ago.
I miss those things a lot -
They were pretty simple, but so much fun to take care of. :]

well, I'm 21 y/o
btw, at work this morning, I bring it to work...it's been 5 days now I think, my patient and his wife saw my tamagotchi
and they were amazed that i have TAMAGOTCHI...in a way they supported me...there's always a child in everyone...
and he was in his late 50's

anyways, would try to upload new pictures of my TAMAGOTCHI V5...

i had one in primary school.. my dad bought me and my brother one each during the holidays... then he took out the batteries when school started cause he thought it'd infringe on our studies.. WE WERE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL!!!!!!!!! ahh i miss them hahaha

Wow I used to have loads of these when I was a kid, over 10 years ago I remember me and my friend saw they were selling them in a shop when we were about 15 and bought one each just for fun and to re-live the childhood memories but they broke after about a day lol I still remember getting my very first one... I must have been about 6. It was a cat one, I can still remember what it looked like and everything. Aww I miss those childhood days

I remember my 1st old tamagotchi before.
then i have the Pikachu Tamagotchi with infrared & pedometer. (^^,)

but then i started to have more gadgets & spend less time on it so it often die of hunger & boredom. So i just gave it to my bestfriend's younger sister. ;P haha

Only the Tamagotchi Connection ones have antenna things sticking out of them.

I used to have a giga pet when I was younger. Now I have an older version of the Tamagotchi Connection. They're okay to play with, but sometimes it gets a little boring and it cries alot (which is why I turned the sound off XD). But it's nice to have around if u have absolutely nothing to do.

tamagotchi's are soooo 20th century?

i had a couple of them (a t-gotchi and a puppy one), and they kept dying due to my lack of interest of staring at animated dots.

i believe u can now get them on ur cellphone, or better yet buy a ds and get nintendogs.

Oh they were the craze when we were younger.

I see these new ones on commercials and I can't believe people still play with them. They bring so many memories... Wow, it really has been 10 years. I used to bring mine to school because I was scared it would starve, but it always died during class. lol The new ones look interesting... I might get one for nostalgic purposes.
