I don't know if this belongs to the food section.
But, when you guys eat something, nothing meat, but like rice or kimchee.
Or drinking pepsi or cola, or any type of foods except meat.

Did you guys ever think those foods are like ALIVE O__O
and they are like "Please don't eat me!!" o___o

Like they were once humans and they turned into foods <__<;; 0___0;;;
I get grossed out sometimes when I think of that >__<

After hearing the news about people eating people


I'm eating kimbab <__< and they look like they are saying "please dont hurt me and eat me"

Speaking about food that's still 'alive', you should have watched Bizarre Food on the Food Network, the host's a bald fat guy, I forgot his name

I watched it today. He went to Tokyo
Over there he went to a small restaurant that served food that's still alive, LITERALLY.
He skinned a frog that's still alive and served it with soy sauce
The bald guy also ate the frog's heart that's still beating!! !
The restaurant owner then served sake with a dead gecko hanging by the glass
Another restaurant grilled snails that were still moving.

Okay the frog part is gross. Lol I wasn't mentioning the meat.

I meant like rice... or kimchee. nothing that has a heart or anything @__@;;

I remember when I was in elementary school and when I first eating Bibim NaengMyun O__O
they were moving so much, well duh yeah cause they are slippery. And I would get sicked by it thinking
they were once earthworms and I would like not eat it until when I got into middle school XD

I haven't experienced what you described before.. (about the humans turning into foods)
but your post reminds me of a Simpsons episode when Lisa became a vegetarian and the cooked meat turned into a lamb. (in her imagination) ><

You know, now I remember a manga with this exact same story as your topic.
It's about a boy who had a special gift.
He's able to communicate with animals, vegetables, fruits, and rice! Literally everything. They were all alive and could speak.
When he passed the food market, he witnessed the vegetables and fruits were crying and begging, "Please don't eat me!"
He couldn't eat any food or drink anything.
He only ate vitamins and drank milk.

So, this kind of thinking is not uncommon, the writer of this manga thought the same thing too and made a comic about it.

Bizarre Foods is on Travel Channel. One of my favorite shows. He makes a lot of the food look good though I'm sure it's really not. XD

i wouldnt want to eat something if its like alive the moment you put it into your mouth. that would be VERY disturbing..
this one time i ordered this dish in a ramen restaurant in the city and the dish came out

haha nope! my buddy was nagging me once when i told him that im eating fried pork and he be all "Dude, you could be eating Babe..." so i said, "Oh crap... really...? all the girls will think im cruel then..."

No, not really. "/ But I feel terrible whenever I eat any kind of meat, poultry, etc. that were previously an alive animal, fish, or something.
However... I don't find cannibalism sad, haha. I just think it's disgusting.
