So the school im going to next year has two dorms. One is more convientent in terms of location (right near everything), but the other one has more... stuff I guess. Like they have a cafeteria in the building, and they also have wifi (which the other one doesn't). If you were me which one would you pick.

distance shouldnt really matter,
because if you're lazy to go too far, then why go to college, right?

i think choose something that's more comfortable to you.
you have to know your study habits,
and how lazy you can get and can be.

i lived near everything my freshman year,
but i was early for class all the time.
my roomy lived near everything, and she was late all the time.

now, i live far. basically the furthest room on the campus,
but it's quiet, i can study well.
and i pace myself.
i dont get lazy to go to class. i know i have to go extra early cause i live further.

i rather choose something comfy.
we're all here for school, not to live closest to the cafe, right?

but dang. im ranting.
GOOD LUCK to you!!!
i hope you enjoy the dorms no matter which you choose.
and besides, you'll be at the school for more than 1 year, right?
you can try different dorms. i did.

take care.
i love seeing you post around. smile.gif

I would definitely pick whichever one is closer to campus. That's the point of dorming isn't it- or you would pick an apartment. lol really, the closer to campus you are the more often you will go to class! biggrin.gif At least that should be the logic haha.

Other than that, if you don't care about being close to classes that much go for the food lol, nothing's better than rolling out of bed and heading straight to the cafeteria without having to go outside the building.

your school has two dorms only? that must be a very very very small college. lol.

but yeah.
i live in a crappy community dorm far from the main campus.
so that's twice as bad as yours. but i've learn to adjust to it. ;]

i'm sure you'll also be able to adjust with whatever dorm you choose.
long walks are nice, unless you're late for class. haha~
but it's a good work out :]

whatever you think will benefit you more.

Actually alot of Korean colleges don't even have dorms because everyone either lives at home or at a hasuk.

I would go to the other one with the wifi and the cafeteria. You can always get to the other area for the other activities. Depends on how much you use the internet and what the other place offers. I also wanted to add that I agree with everyone on distance and where your classes are and everything. Personally I would get as close as possible lol.

i'll dorm at the one closer to campus just because it is closer...can get up and ran to class without extra effort.
