hi i'm a junior i took the SAT twice this year & i haven't done so good.
is there any SAT school's in california that you guys can recommend me
would prefer it to be in the L.A. area

as much as it pains me to say this but i recommend :
Elite

its very demanding and costs a pretty penny, but if you do study hard and do the packets then its definetly worth it.

theres also Kaplan and such that have relatively the same program.
but elite is elite. lol . Xp

My friend went through the PR classroom prep and she got a 2100 to my lousy 1850. *shrugs*
the founder of the company also teaches classes at pomona and he wants to get rid of the SATs. haha
awesome dude.

so im debating whether or to sign up with elite.
for elite i will start classes starting next week if i plan to go there i will be taking classes till august of summer.
& i don't live in the areas where elite is at i will be taking the weekend course

and as for Princeton Review they will only offer it three weeks during summer.
which is from july 14- july 31 from where i'm living..

which one do you guys recommend me doing??

i'm not going to say my current sat score but
during the summer before sophomore yr
i had a 1400+ and raised it to 1890 or something LOL
and then the year after... so the summer of 07 i raised my score to 2000s
soooooooooooooooooooooo...

but my actual result i don't feel like saying. it's so low (from what i expected it to be)

yeah. that's elite for me.. without too much effort. is till do my hw and memorize things i need to. i didn't exactly give my 150% which i should have -0- then iw ouldn't be here asking people for their stats to see if i'm on the right track or not.

T___T;; yeahh.. very bad.

i need to do one more sat subject.

i did the korean one.
and i got a 790 on it T_T

haah i got 790 too! but it's only b/c i kind of zoned out during listening.
i mean. x_x they were talking REALLLY slowly...
and when i get bored, my mind runs off so easily

+++++ fobs set the curve which i find totally unfair for people like me who moved to USA when i was 2 yrs old.

hm which section are you having most difficulties in? or are they all evenly distributed?
like i think if you get used to the SAT (from taking numerous practice testS) you should be able to raise it to at least 1800 without a problem.
cause i mean -0- look at me LOL. 1400 -> almost 1900 within 8 weeks


math is the easiest to improve on
same with writing
CR is kind of not working out but i did improve.
in my english class we analyze texts SOOOOOO MUCHH and my main problem was overanalyzing so from learning from my mistakse in english class helped me improve.

and as for 2nd test. iw ould take math2c if i were you lol :x
if you know how to use TI-89 effectively , you're guaranteed 800.
which i find UNFAIR -0- b/c i love my ti-83+ and got... 7X0
never found the time to practice using ti-89

or if you're taking history... or science? yous hould try for those
but math2c is good to take(if you're good at math)

but dont remember a thing
i think i will take math level 2
i guess i need to study on how to use my calculator too hahah

elite is for me now.
im sure i`ll be going there now.
