Hi everyone. I was thinking of transferring.
My GPa is decent. Higher than 3.0. The real number I won't say. ;P but its decent.
How easy is it from transferring to another SUNY to SUNY?
This applys to only the New York Students of course, unless one is also involved in the SUNy system.
Thank you!~

one important thing to consider is the number of credits you have at your current school as not all the credits may transfer over to the new school, sometimes because of the class itself or the grade -- i think it has to above a C or you don't get credit for that class when you transfer.

i think most SUNYs have similar pre-reqs so it would be easier to transfer during your 1st two years or before the 60-credit mark.

go speak to someone at your admissions office. i would think transferring within the SUNY schools is definitely doable with a 3.0+

i've had friends who transferred into bing after their freshman year at stony with similar grades.

transferring between public schools is pretty easy, esp if youre going into the same major, most if not all your credits should transfer.

but about your GPA, it'll be wiped when you transfer, so you'll be starting with a clean slate at your new school
