Okay, i have talking issues ! My BF calls me and we just talk and talk but then it gets quiet..(silence)
{we just started dating}.....BOO. >,< i feel like i'm so boring ! *Sigh..
Soo, what's there to talk about ?
What's a good subject that keeps you talking on and on.. ?
Help me, please. When it comes to me trying to think...i go clueless....
I even ask if, dun't he get tired of me cuz of what i do, "nott talking much", booo. ! and he says, "then why am i calling?"

my bf and i talk abt everything and anything. look for common interests/hobbies, for example my bf and i both do taekwondo and enjoy watching sports such as soccer/taekwondo/any other type of martial art.

umm generally we talk abt how our day was(we're busy so we only get to see each other once a week max.) so theres always loads to say. or if one of us(usually me) has something to complain about(which is quite often) then they'll just talk and the other listens.

or at night when im tired, he'll tell me bed time stories or sings me songs =]

Gf and I talk about everything, from people, fashion, careers, food and our future, especially marriage, kids, living together, where to live, etc.

that happens when i talked to my ex..

we had A LOT to talk about but then sometimes there were just those awkward moments
when both of us stop talking...but then it's not so bad

cuz we were comfortable enough with each other
and then we'd just sigh over the phone or something and wait for the next topic lol

Anything and everything. Now that I think about it... we never have awkward silences. No silences, period. I guess we're both that talkative

Well, umm your future goals, what you want to do together/ plan the next date together, talk about your day, listen to each others rants, interesting things that happened, your past, hobbies, flirting, your friends, books, movies, omg it's endless... Just talk to him like you would with another friend. Oh and a lot of teasing.

Lol your bf is boring. He should initiate a convo, you reply tell him your pov, he replies tell you his point of view, give each other examples, and this should just lead into a stream of other convo's.

about your likes and dislikes? :-D FOOD!! i always talk about food to my ex lol

maybe you guys should play 21 questions or something like that and ask more personal questions as you guys go deeper alongg
that's what we did. really helped the timee. because we asked, then discussed the answer pretty much, and then asked, lalala.
andd, uh, mayybe go see a movie, talk about the moviee then. then just branch off from that.. talk about other movies.
plan for next weekend or somethingg. or talk about tv shows, then talk about old tv shows you used to watch, etc.
go hang out somewhere, and this sounds mean but, point to other people go and "look at her shoes" or something lol.

Wow, I have the same exact problem with the person I'm dating right now. I don't understand why we get so quiet because I can talk and talk for hours with a friend, but when it comes to him, I become so quiet. I have absolutely nothing to talk about. I swear it's his fault though lol- he doesn't open up easily

you should ask him stuff to learn about who he is, what he likes, dislikes, hi sbackgroud.

then go away and thik about what that all means for you and him.

since he is your firt boyfriend, all that thinking will not have been done yet so the dots will not connect this first time round.

note.. if after a few months you find nothing in common to talk about then it is natural for the relationship to end.

Randomness is fun. But it would also help you to get to know him better too.

Find out these things...
What is the worst/ best present he has ever gotten?
Does he have dreams and if he does, which one does he remember?
Favourite movie? Or if someone was to do a movie on his life who would he prefer to play as him?
Did he ever win any competitions?
His greatest childhood memories. Share photos of when you were younger. Tell him stories.

Usually talking about our days or something we learned that day/ something interesting that happened that day starting off the conversation which never ends~ haha.

iono i talk about myself...and things that i kno we both like...example...music, guitar, each other...iono just bring up stupid things thats what i do...

hmmm we like to talk about food a lot... he's a cook. i just love food. haha. we talk about video games...=D

hmm... just random stuff sometimes... hmm we share funny stories of how it relates to our topic we are currently talking about.... we talk about how our day was... work, school, etc.
it's ok to have silent moments tho... not like u can spend forever talking... when we first were dating (before we went out) we talked SOOOO much but i think we exhausted quiet a few topics...

Anything, be random. =) Talk about him or yourself, soon you'll be comfortable enough to just let the conversation flow.

we talk about anything that comes to mind. since you just started dating, you can talk about each others' past to learn more about each other. (ex. each other's childhood, fears, embarrassing moments, crushes, things that you like) Just anything that comes to mind and it will go from there. You can talk about similar interests you have or maybe about school and homework. You can talk about what happened during the day and stuff. just talk about random stuff because if you think too much on it, nothing will come to mind. It'll start to get comfortable even when there's silence later on.

lol im a random person so i just talk whatever that comes into mind, since we go to different school we talk alot about our life and whats happening. =)

make fun of him ^__^ and then he'll make fun of you and then it will go back and forth until it never stops =]

since you're just starting out you can ask him about his fears and what he likes and stuff
my boyfreind and I talked about his fears (he told me stories and stuff) for like 2 straight hours once, one of the most interesting convos i've had =]

talk to him about everythinggggggg. we usually tease each other and tell fibs when we're bored LOL.
our conversations on the phone are usually like, how was our day, what did we do, what we want to do later (like tomorrow or next week or w/e). then something in there, we could make a conversation out of it. like i ask him questions about his day such as why did you do that, etc.

we have silences but they aren't awkward. it's really comforting cuz i know he's there and i can listen to him breathe. ^^ i love comfortable silences.

Talk about things you both like: eg. music, cars, places to hang out, upcoming social/non social events at school etc. There's quite a lot!

THAT. we ask each other that every day, it's getting annoying now, but i kinda want to know what he's doing the next day LOL ... i dont know, he likes cars so when he talks about cars i asked questions (even though i dont want to) b/c i know nothing about cars. but usually i complain and he listens. then after i'm done complaining i always ask "how come you're not talking?" then he'd say "b/c i was listening to you! duh!" then i'll complain some more. goes on. but gosh, silence do come here and there.

THIS is when i come to soompi and grab topics off here to talk about LOL. like, "how do you explain a heart break?" etc. LOL. but whatever we talk about it always lands on the SAME topic (shall not mention that topic).

We make fun of each other a lot. Hahs, & we talk bout food or what we're doing the next day.
Or talk bout our past from time to time, or watch movies on the phone with each other.
Like watch a movie on youtube together? Lol. And discuss the movie at times.
