i really like noodles

you can cook them in lots of ways and there's lots of different types of noodles

- japanese soba - ok i havent cookd this yet cos its a cold dish but i thik you can haveit with soya sacue and.. spinach or stuff
- instant mee noodles
- thick rice noodles - fry with egg and cornflour and meat/seafood and buk choy (sar hor fun)
- crispy noodles (san mien or yee mee (not so crispy))
- fish ball noodles
- wantan style egg noodles
- and you can have lots of different soups and stuff...

only thing is.. noodles never seem to fill me up as much as rice, so i think if i ate noodles everyday i would be even more skinny and fit.

how about you?

I don't think noodles itself would make you fit. It really depends what accompanies it.

But no, I'm the traditional daily rice eater.

Noodle requires quite a lot of work, unless you go with the instand noodle thing. And the instant noodle will destroy not only your skin but also your waist.

To make (not instant) noodle, you have to soften the noodle, make the soup (which can be pork soup, beef soup, wonton soup...) (which consume like bazillion hours of time to finish)...

So no, noodle is not a choice for daily eating. On weekends though, having some pho or something soup-y is a nice treat.

^ Siriel the girl in your avatar is really pretty, who is that?

And yeah, I eat noodles everyday xP Boiled then soaked...I can't eat noodles with water...it just makes it too filling. And then I'd add veggies and shrimp/chicken/something to it, hotsauce, shallots <3 sooo good...they're those vegan noodles you buy from the japanese supermarkets. my mom said it isn't really fattening unless you fry it =/

actually noodles is quite quick. I boil the noodles, then set it aside in fridge for a few days. Microwave it with some water whenever I want it.

Soup can last a few days too. Soup with carrots or pork or pork balls etc. If it is green vegies like buk choy itis not a good idea to cook in soup and leave. So I cook it on day of use.

So noodles are really quick. Quicker and tastier than rice -- except it is hard to find the right noodle......

also i think noodles is more expensive than rice

i eat noodles every saturday and never get tired of it but it doesnt keep me full though. I eat rice everyday and that lfills me up longer than noodles in my opinion.

I do eat noodles like once or twice a week but my staple is still RICE. I am a rice person, can't help it though. Asians being Asians afterall.
