if you had a family would you prefer one with lots of kids or fewer kids...

big families can be lots of fun with kids round the table and grandma and grandpa and everyone talking and hopefully laughing.... but im sure there are downsides..

smal families -- im not sure about small families. is it more boring?

what doyou think are the advantages and disadvantages of big and small families (and which wud you prefer)?

I like having a big family
You can never get too lonely

I quite like small families.
I never liked getting everyone together for Christmas.

I like big families too.
I always have a dream to have many kids if i get married one day.

I want a huge family someday . I have three younger sisters and I have to say that it's never boring or quiet in my house. Well except when we're all sleeping and not even then...The snoring. Hahaha.

Big family definitely. I grew up in a big family (5 kids) and it was always fun, sometimes hectic but i never felt lonely. I remember how my friends never wanted to go home because their house would be empty and always wanting to come to mine. I also plan to have a big family But um... hopefully they can discover a way to make child birthing not painful in the next couple of years

A big family would be more fun, but the members would get annoying more often. I'd rather have a small family.

Oh,my whole class has discussed over this issue before(:
once my teacher asked us to raise hands for those who wants 5 kids or more and in the end i was the only person with my hand raised.
i was damm embrassed.haha.
but still i love the idea of having a big family.
it'll be more fun and i'm someone who dun like the idea of being alone.
but the bad thing is there might be more arguements and noise !

I grew up with 4 siblings. So it's pretty much a big family.
And it gets really fun especially when we all get together & go crazy xD.
And it's pretty much VERY NOISY at home always. x).
Plus in big families, you tend to get distracted by all the noise
& you cant concentrate much on what u're doing.

On the other hand, small families are quiet.
It's good since there are no distractions.
But it can get pretty lonely right?

For me, i'd like a big family though.
But i dunn0 if i can handle a lot of kids in the future. xD.
So either 3 kids or 4 kids. :].

i have to say big families. i grew up with a lot of people and love so i want my future kids to feel that too.

i personally think it would be more fun to have a bigger family...but then when it comes down to me having to pop out ALL those kids... ehh i am sticking to 2..lol

I want a big family, so the environment feels happier or warmer to me I guess. The more the merrier, haha.

i have a medium sized family, but i definetly wouldn't mind it being a little bigger. i do think that bigger families have more fun, because there' more people, so you hardly ever get bored. and there's a higher chance that there's some one in your age group. my family is weirdly set so that all the kids are two years apart. it's weird.

errmm a husband and maybe about 2-3 kids. thats small, right? well, thats the kinda family that i would want =D
i actually dont know why, but i guess you can get closer to the family members and have more time with each and everyone in the family so yah. and it can get pretty crazy with alotta kids.

i have a huge family cause my mom has like 5 brothers and sisters and 5 half brothers and sisters. half of my uncles and anuties are over here in the states while the other half are still in vietnam. i love having a lot of cousins, but i wished that all of them were over here so we could hang out (i'm the oldest kid over here and all my cousins that are the around the same age are in VN). i like our gatherings cause it's always lively. i only have a little brother so i'm predicting that we won't have as big of a family, but if you count in my cousins then whoo! that'll be a party. lol

A small family, because I'm in one. It's not quiet or boring, and I'm pretty close with my family. Whenever I'm around the whole extended family, I get way uncomfortable and irritated.

Definitely families with fewer kids.
Why? because kids are nasty D:

i love kids, especially my cousins so i like it this way :)

well, w/ the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, i think...the more the merrier :D

even though i don't like kids much..
they are entertaining and fun to play with if you're bored >_<

i have kind of a small family (three kids including myself). it's kinda nice.
on the other hand, my bf has like 4 siblings (so five kids including himself) and it's always busy. like. there's something going on. like at the dinner table. it's pretty cool.

i like both~ but i kinda like smaller families (like mine) better.

id want a medium sized family. like parents & two kids.

hmm i used to live with a big family, its like all the people under my maternal grandparents live in one house and it WAS FUN! but since my mom remarried, we moved out and now theres only 5 of us in house..its lonely and too quiet sometimes... :/

i think that i would rather have a HUGE family. because you know when you get awards and graduate and stuff, there are more people to cheer you on. I actually do have a pretty big family, auntie uncle and cousin wise, but it really is great

i like huge family!!!coz at home its only my parent and bro!!so its pretty quite at times!!

I wish I had a bigger family! Then my parents would have more kids to worry about then just focusing their concern on me, haha.

i'd say a small sized family.
i'm an only child, and i don't really get lonely.
i actually think it's nice being an only child.

relative wise, i ...have a pretty big family since my parents both have 8 syblings and all my older cousins have 2+ kids.

i mean...EVERYYYWHEREEEE. most are at the running like crazy..tripping..crying-stage. its fun though at the same. the guys
usually play games, basketball, tennis, or just sit around chasing kids. the girls do the same. haha or talk around. we all get
along. which is realllllllyyyyyyy weird since theres sooo many of us. at the moment...i'll say i have more than 18+ cousins not
counting the little babies that my older cousins have. haha



overall. family- SMALL, relative- BIGGG

There are sometimes 11 people in my house (when cousins and aunts come to visit..which is often and they stay for weeks), but usually it's like 6. I'd say both, big and small families.

Big families because you can never get lonely and always have someone there for you.

Small families because it's peaceful and you get WAY more privacy and time for yourself.

I HATE waking up in the morning from the screams in the living room (no matter what, my relatives ALWAYS find something to argue about from "you forgot to flush the toilet" to "there's hair stuck on my brush") and it's usually in the morning. And sometimes, my siblings can get very irritating, I can't concentrate when I'm trying to read something.

I prefer smaller families. I think there more fun rather than big families, most of the time with big families its never quiet.
