but being a pretty patriotic taiwanese, he depises china (in a quite biased manner imo)..
and being a hk'er, im not a patriotic chinese, but i cant help the fact im a chinese...
and what gets to me, is how he stereotypes chineses all the time.. it makes me
like just now we were talking about the tibetian riot...
where the people there started killing the chinese there and smashing their shops and stuff..
i find riots and killings really really disturbing. no matter how desperate the one is for independence....
but he thinks its appropriate. because he considers the chinese there the "invading members in tibet"
and i'm like. "what if i grew up there in tibet, as a chinese, call tibet my home...
then the next day i wake up, went out, got killed for being a chinese. not for who i am. thats not right."
and he'll just reply. "nahh that won't happen to you..."
and when we talk about the taiwan and china relation.. it's just get worse
cus hk is like the weakest metropolis in china because of its easy accessibility..
so its inevitable that taiwan attacks hk if a war really breaks out...
and becus of his strong patriotism, he said he'd be in the army fighting..even if its hk..
i was actually really quite saddened about it....so i said..
"so u'll tear up my homeland for your independence? you'd kill me and my ppl for that?.."
he'll just say. "nahh. i'll lock you somewhere safe before i continue my duty..."
he's not getting the point, is he? i don't know what to do..
i mean sure. we can stop talking about politics.. tho its just avoiding the problem...
but i cant stop knowing wt he'd do to chinese just cus he hates the chinese govt..
i personally don't like politics..
i find the world of politics like a huge wacked-up baby
that only throws tantrums (riots) only to get attention instead of compromising...
that are selfish and doesnt like to share toys with others....
i call it insensible. they call me unrealistic.
