I just recently really got into playing the Sims 2 and for those of you who dont know what it is, its a game based on simulating real life. You have to take care of all your sims basic needs (i.e bladder, hunger, energy etc) while also getting them to reach certain aspiration goals like reaching the top of their career choice. I have the nightlife expansion pack and i just love it.

Do any of you guys play? I know i have a favorite house i like to play with. Three sims : David, Janice, & Christy. Janice and Christy are sisters. Janice is engaged to David, but David is Christys babys dad. Whats your favorite family like?

haha i play the sims2 too! but i only have the original version-no expansion packs

i have too many families so it's hard to say what my fav. is.
sims 2 is so addicting for me; theres just so much to do.

I love to make up families and stuff of my friends. Made this entire town with real life people in it...so much fun.

Especially when I fell in love with my best friend lol...maybe that will come true in real life O_O

haha, i don't have the sims 2... but i have the original one :] with all the expansion packs. oh man, how i loved to play that game when i had free time.

my favorite family? i don't have one really... i like them all. i like creating the house, but sometimes it gets tedious. just a tad. but being low on money isn't a problem ;] if you catch my drift. haha. have fun playing!

I love the sims! i got hooked on the ^oldschool sims awhile back and spent all my money on them so when sims 2 came out i was so excited but sad but i didnt have the money to pay for it. Now i just borrow a friends and i got the sims university. Its really fun for like six months but then for me it started getting boring after awhile. Nonetheless its the only computer game i've ever played for long periods of time.

oh i have the sims too...i dont like it that much cuz whenever i make people they get depressed and stuff T_T so then i gave up. I havent touched that game in like 2 months. GR i only hope my people werent poor and lazy...and unclean...and unsociable...aw ><"

i like odd kinks they add in with a money tree and such and it's so funny when u make a sim slap another sim then they start crying hahaha

Woot, Sims 2! This has got to be my favorite PC game of all time. I got hooked on the first one and I got all its expansion packs. I got Sims 2 as soon as it got out. Got University and Nightlife EPs and can't wait until Open for Business comes out~!

I think my favorite part in the entire game is dressing up the Sims, haha. They're like moving dolls. XD Alot of the custom content people make are really amazing. I like asianizing my Sims with clothes based on designs in Asia, lol.

i have the sims 2, but i haven't played it after i got a new computer. it lags for me kinda so i'm waiting for another video card.

sims2 is quite fun but cos of my sucky comp, it lags when i have more than 4 pple in the same house.



u can use the aging on and off cheat code. in fact it's not really considered as a cheat code cos it's even stated in the installation guide. lol

I play Sims2 and Sims! Love it all! Got a big family...then computer started lagging and running out of space...and my sister deleted it. I'll tell you a secret...my seems was a hooker.

P.S : Though he's a hooker he made ALOT of money!

Somebody bought me this game when it just came out. I loved it a lot. But for some reason, the graphics are just really slow. I put it on the lowest graphics possible and it still loads WICKED slow, and its a big turn off for me. Does anyone else have this problem? I really want to play it again..with speed sims 1 offered.

P.S. I installed the game when I bought a brand new computer the day before. -__-''

That's where you extract it to. ^^ But if the file is .package only, if it's something else I think you can just double-click on it and let it install instantly.

yay sims 2. i got it as soon as it came out but i only played it like once cuz i was so frustrated with how slow it was and then i let someone borrow and i finally got it back! so im addicted now.

i dont have a favorite family. i usually just like to make houses and decorate them, play with them for awhile, then make a new family.

You can make a new folder, and label it Downloads. Just make sure it's located in My Documents > EA Games > Sims 2
