After being rejected by a guy yet again, Izawa Riiko finds a lost cellphone ringing on the ground. She answers it and agrees to meet the person on the other end to return it. Thus she meets Namikiri Gaku, a strange "cosplaying" salesman. As a thanks for returning the phone, Gaku offers her merchandise from his company, Kronos Heaven. When she shows no interest in his wares, expressing the sentiment: "get me a boyfriend", Gaku gives Riiko an internet site from which she purchases a lover figure on a three day trial. She names this robot Night, and soon becomes rather attached to him, but upon accidently exceeding the trial period, she discovers that Night has a huge price tag attached. He's the one hundred million yen man! How will Riiko pay for her new boyfriend figure? And why is her childhood friend and next door neighbor, Asamoto Soshi, acting so strange now that Night is around?

Yuu Watase combines fantasy and romance quite well. This manga's a keeper.

This is so much better than Imadoki. Imadoki is like for young readers and the plot was so boring =P

But you know her works are all similar. I always prefer the guy that the girl's always known and he had always been there for the girl (not the new guy that comes into the pic like Night for instance) but the girl always falls for the new guy anyway. It's the same all the time.

I didn't really like how abruptly it ended (so I was a little disappointed) with how short this manga is. If it was a tiny big longer, it would be perfect (won't feel so rushed).

I love her humor in her mangas though, they are really funny.

I read it to i think the 10-ish volume and got extremely bored. I'm not a big fan of Yuu Watase anymore =/

I just started reading this manga at the bookstore today and I really like it. I'm hoping to find some more scanlations of this manga somewhere.

I finally decided to get into this manga. It is a typical Yuu Watase manga with love triangles to love spiderwebs. x_x That's why I decided not to read anymore of her stories but I was too curious.

It's cute though. And her humor is always great. How many volumes are there? I've only found up to chapter 23 of volume four from SM.

It's not long, only 6 volumes.

I liked Zettai Kareshi (Absolute Boyfriend). It has 32 chapters in total and is 6 volumes long. It was a good story although yeah it was good overall. It's licensed though, I bought the first volume which came out February 7th in the U.S. but the next one comes out until >.> August 1st. So cruel to make someone wait that long. Thankfully I know what's going to happen so the wait won't be that bad for me.

I saw this series at my friend's place yesterday! I nearly borrowed them home to read. I think I shall do that after I'm done with the set I borrowed from her~ I thought it was an interesting concept; robot + human = love.

I read the ending, well it as in Japanese so I didn't really understand it, but it wasn't what i expected o.O

It just seems kind of abrupt that's all. The ending was proper. I mean --> (highlight) you don't expect her to actually really spend the rest of her life with an android, do you?

ANIME???? There's gonna b an anime? *faints* - I dun like the ending of this manga - not the best work of Yuu Watase, I hafta say. I'll just sit calmly like a good girl and collect dilligently "Fushigi Yuugi : Genbu Gaiden" - that's the prequel for Fushigi Yuugi ^.^ - like it MUCH better than Fushigi Yuugi since there wasn't a stupid "Miaka~~~~" - "Tamahome~~~~" -thing going on (well, very soon they might start doing "Takiko~~~~~" - "Rimudo~~~~~" (or Uruki - whateva) - in which case, I might throw the manga out the window - lol)
