I watch it every now and then 'cos my sister's a big fan of it.
I like Juan Pablo Montoya. A real daring driver.

I prefer Michael Schumacher but too bad, he's got a lousy combination of car this year... this year, Alonso is just so lucky...
was hoping that Kimi would win the world championship this year... :/

I've been a Schumacher man since Spa 92, when he beat Senna and Prost in the wet. Yes, I'm sad that he lost the title, but in his absence, I would have THOUGHT that Raikkonen would whoop Alonso, ( i hate Alonso ) but it turned all sour on me... guess next year were gonna have to show em' how its done.

Well, I bet I should be a huge fan of Raikkonen, since he is from Finland, and Im from Finland too. Exactly, he is my friend's ex-bf O.o
Anyway, a looooooooong story
But, I do like Alonso the most!!
I have liked him since....2003? He got that something!!

Oct 16 2005, 10:25 PM
yea i like schumacher too...michael that is...i blame his 'lack of form' this year on the rule changes...and brdgestone is not all that bad...ferarri have always done well with bridgestone but thats it...all the other teams using bridgestone do poorly
they're changing the pitting rules (re-allowing tyre change pitting) for next season...i dont like the 2-race engine rule either

Just a bit less boring than nascar. But I could never get into it. I'd rather watch GT races that do more than just "TURN LEFT" lol.
Chioster
Aug 6 2006, 01:55 PM
^ you do know F1 cars and GT cars both race on the same tracks?? Plus you try getting the same times F1 cars get in Monaco with a GT car.
Anyways, my most favourite driver of all time has to be Ayrton Senna but too bad his career and life ended early. My current one is Jenson Button of HONDA!.
LolitaMan
Aug 6 2006, 02:15 PM
^ Actually I'm talking about the circle tracks. If they do race on the same track, then I never seen those track races on tv.
Chioster
Aug 6 2006, 03:35 PM
Spa? Nurburgring? Silverstone? And the circle tracks arent F1 cars. Those are Grand Prix cars which have a more powerful engines then F1 and less downforce for higher top speed they also weigh more then F1 cars. They are like Champ Cars.

I don't have any favorite drivers, I just like watching the drivers and teams battle for position. Just watching the cars fly through the corners at such high speeds is also another spectacle.

^I beg to differ. I like to think he just has a better car than most of the better drivers.

My favorite would have to be Michael Schumacher. Next is Kimi Raikkonen. Too bad he's been unlucky in a lot of the races this year.
I think it sucks that Alonso won championship this year. :x

Oh my goodness!!!
You *edit* Your honey got to take pics with Ralf and Jenson?! Both of them are like my most favourite!!! urgh I'm jealous...

But Schumi got most of my respect - didn't win the championship but there's still a smile on his face. Sad that he's retired.
I feel so bad now. Because last 2 years I had enough of Schumi having to win like every race and that made me curse him to not win and struggle in the next season. Urgh. It's all my fault. *smacks mouth*

is it? I don't follow f1 that closely at all, it was better when I was in france last year b/c you could see it on the television - here, though, you can't get it anywhere unless you have speedvision. I'm partial to Renault, but when I was watching, Raikkonen was the driver that impressed me the most.
when is the barcelona GP?

what a race to go to for your first time! that's one of those "i was there" moments you can brag about once Hamilton cements his place as a great, should all go well. Feel free to post any pictures if you have any

the race was a bit strange but still exciting - the number of crashes was ridiculous! Thankfully kubica came out with just a sprained ankle

someone needs to start applying that kind of engineering to streetcars.
even if Kovalainen profited from the incidents, it's nice to see him get a good result and even better for renault. Too bad the car doesn't seem like it can compete just yet.
it's easy to hate alonso now that he isn't driving for renault anymore. what was that idiot thinking going into the first turn like that? maybe someone who knows f1 better than I can justify it, because it just looks like he was being an ass. Not only that but he almost took out hamilton on the way back onto the track. The guy has rocks for brains. Sato's overtaking of Alonso at the end of the race was awesome! just put him in his place.

Jun 13 2007, 07:51 PM
yep! what a rough race to be seen. I was kinda frightened. man..seeing how Kubika got crash and so close to Kimi! Ah..Thank God Kimi finished all laps and got 4 points. Last race was the 1st time how i saw Alonso was so unlucky, lolzz. And the unbelievable thing was Hamilton got the pit-stop at the right time before the safety car took place. Poor Ferrari, I dunno why my Kimi haven found his best performs yet, soon please..! Yeah, seems like Macca is unbeatable
Anyway, Im lookin forward to seeing US GP. Im eager of seeing a comebak winning from KImi! ohh..please!!

unless ferrari get pole (or a better machine!), i don't think they will win. Perhaps this was exacerbated at indy, where major position shuffling in the front is really difficult (as Alonso said, if you get pole, then you're pretty much sure to finish first barring any major mistakes).
this mclaren dominance is pissing me off. i'm glad hamilton is doing well, but honestly it's pathetically boring in view of the global picture
au_revior
Jun 18 2007, 07:34 PM
yeah suddenly ferrari is behind mclaren. anyway looks like hamilton set to be the 2nd rookie to win the driver championship.
and is obvious that alonso look kinda pissed with his team for not 'supporting him or double treatment'. lolz this season will be a great one. Anyway 10 races to go, and ferrari, i notice is much more stronger or consistent in european races compare to mclaren. anyway kimi is not living up to his expectation at ferrari i wouldnt be suprised now if alonso joins ferrari, since i read in the newspaper that his 'advisors' found a loop in the contract with mclaren, anyhow he should be glad that he moved to mclaren since renault having difficulty with their new cars as a results of using bridgestone instead of michelin. anyway hamilton if he wins this championship and if he managed his life well, there is an estimate that he can net $100 million in sposorship money. alot of money by my standard.

I think all of you have already known the rumour comin to Paddock nowadays. Kimi is going to leave Ferrari and replace Ralfie at Toyota. Some said Kimi is just fire by Ferrari and Ferrari's going to ask Msc to join back Ferrari as the driver, others said Ferrari asked Alonso and Nico. O"how can they cross the contract. 1st I was just ignored that but Im kinda shocked why all F1 sites and Racing Magz declare that all around. Its annoying as hell, I hate everytime to imagine that. I hope Its just a my happy poopoo!
I think Kimi is already comfort his Ferrari, He was so fast at USA GP. Yeah The start was totally dissapointing but the rest was awesome. He overtook Nick and chased Massa so close. He almost passed Massa. He was the fastest at Lap 49. Why this rumour comes too early?? Ohh..
