okay, well there are some songs that just creep me out for some odd reason.

` selena - "dreaming of you" (it was her last song, and sometimes it makes me think that it is her ghost singing it and not her)

` travis - "side" (the music video has real footage of UFOs caugh on tape by various ppl.)

::shiver me timbers::
THEmerryJANE
Tupac - Hail Mary. The beat and atmosphere of this song is pretty creepy.

O_O So I'm not the only one that sometimes gets creeped out by that song?! The song is beautiful and I really like it...but certain times when I listen to it I'm all like

>_>
*shudder*

But if you hear Pachelbel's "Canon in D Major" played in D Minor...now THAT sounds creepy...Also, it's scary when you play certain songs backwards (but for some reason, I feel more comforted when I can actually hear phrases in between the gibberish)

That one "If I Was Invisible" song by Clay Aiken.
Not only is it creepy, but his grammar is t3h suk.
danchooox
this song called "Blue". it's a pretty old song.
but like it's about blue aliens in a blue house with a blue window. hahaha
"i'm blue. dabadiba?" haha
but the voice that sings it just totally creeps me out! >__<

clay aiken's invisible song is creepy. and he even said in an interview, not sure which one, but after he sung it he realized the lyrics were a bit freaky.

APC. sry to those who like them.
non upbeat rap music where the dude's voice is really low and it sounds like a serial killer who's calm right before he kills you.

I have to agree with Selena. I love, love, love Selena, I grew up listening to her and find it hard to listen to her music now. It's so surreal.

In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida (In the Garden of Eden xD;) by Iron Butterfly. The BGM is creepy but I find it hilarious how wasted the vocalist was when he wrote the song.

Same with every major song that is played in minor.
MEiRiN
^yeah.. orchestrated music played in a minor scale is kinda creepy x.x; i like playing songs in minor scales but it's hard remembering the notes sometimes for me - -;

Selena? I love her songs but yeah, Dreaming of You is kinda creepy ever since she died T___T; x.x

sarah brightman - it's a beautiful day

well ironically, it seems that it's about dying. i get the impression that the song is about seeing how everything seems beautiful right before one dies, but who's to say ohmy.gif

"With every new day
Your promises fade away
It's a fine day to see
Though the last day for me
It's a beautiful day"

anyway she sings a part that is operatic...which is creepy and breath-taking at the same time.

another song is 'she moved through the fair' which, i learned, is a traditional irish song. apparently it has a lot of versions than i can count on my fingers and toes. gotta give props to boyzone's version (that's right, you heard me, boyzone biggrin.gif ) for making the song give off a more melancholic, romantic, tragic background music...but also it gives me the shivers, when i'm the only one at past midnight awake and listening to it.

this is a more complete variation of the lyrics, i think:

My young love said to me,
"My mother won't mind,
And my father won't slight you
For your lack of kine."
And she stepped away from me
And this she did say,
"It will not be long, love,
Till our wedding day."

She stepped away from me
And she moved through the fair,
And fondly I watched her
Move here and move there;
And then she went homeward
With one star awake,
As the swan in the evening
Moves over the lake.

The people were saying
That no two were e'er wed,
But one had a sorrow
That never was said,
And she smiled as she passed,
With her goods and her gear,
And that was the last
That I saw of my dear.

Last night she came to me,
My dead love came in,
So softly she came
That her feet made no din;
And she laid her hand on me
And this she did say,
"It will not be long, love,
Till our wedding day."
***

haha that was pretty long. sorry couln't help posting it vicx.gif
---

vanessa mae - 'the blessed spirits' - the beat, the choir singing, the sound of violin being played...all make me think of soldiers marching and dying crazy.gif but other than the impression i have, it's a beautiful song.
---

and who remembers "zombie" by the cranberries ohmy.gif
---

'frozen' by madonna. all because of its music video
---

'november rain' by guns n' roses...again the music video...
---

the lighthouse's tale by nickle creek...lighthouses give me the creeps...

COREAN
led zeppelin - stairway to heaven

when its played backwards, it talks about satan

here are the original lyrics:

If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean from the May Queen.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by; but in the long run,
There's still time to change the road you're on.

here it is played backwads:

Here's to my sweet Satan
The one whose little path would make me sad, whose power is fake/Satan.
He'll give those with him 666
There was a little toolshed where he made us suffer, sad Satan.

Oooh... I love A Perfect Circle too!!!! Their songs are kinda haunting though...esp. Sleeping Beauty...even the album cover of "O" was pretty haunting...

Uhm.."Closer" by Nine Inch Nails is kinda creepy..esp when Trent says "I wanna f*#k you like an animal..you get me closer to God."

Also "Liar" by The Rollins Bad esp taht part where Henry Rollins laughs like a maniac...

The whole "QUeen of the Damned" OST is kinda scary but I love it! smile.gif
simpleandpink
Dresden Dolls' "Coin-Operated Boy"

Actually, I'm freaked by the video more.

And if anyone's heard of the video game, "Rose Red" then they'll know that the trailer/opening song is pretty creepy x_x
SwtMsT
^ the video for coin-operated boy freaked me out!

Gollums theme song from Lord of the Rings. It's pretty freaky.
missavvy
money money money ...
that song.
i dunno why, but it reminds me of this other song.. where some girl died when they were recording it, the girl was the model for their cd cover and she did something and yeah... lol it scared the crap outta me
and whenever i hear MONEY MONEY MONEY... MONEY that part with the synthesizers.. scary

A lot of Placebo songs are creepy.

Sleeping with ghosts is an example. That song is downright chilly...but good wacko.gif .
Paradox
I think the whole "satan if you listen to it backwards!" stuff is crap. Stairway to heaven is a beautiful song, in my opinion.

I do think "Natural Born Killaz" by Ice Cube is pretty creepy though o.o
Justalilodreamer
You're beautiful- James Blunt

omg his voice makes me cringe
desperation.
I think songs that sound like "One Step Closer" is kind off creepy.
heartwreckss
the movie Selena was really good, but yeah, it doesn't creep me out.

i was going to say Clay Aiken too!

and uh, "kim" by eminem. the song where Eminem puts his wife, Kim, in the trunk of the car and murders her (complete with the sound of her screaming in the background).

mhm.

that one scares the ever loving crap out of me . played backward , i mean . it's so gritty , especially the like about the toolshed O_O; i wouldn't go into my garage for ages after i heard it laugh.gif

meanwhile , i think here 2 b friends by lupen crook is a bit creepy . "i've been thinking about taking you in your sleep , cause it turns me on , yeah it turns me wrong" .. it's a good song though , really . i think maybe lupen himself is a bit scary , so all his song become more scary than they may have been intended to be .
tasty

Hmm, well, I love the song Mazohyst of Decadence by Dir en grey, but I bet people would consider it creepy. Kyo sings it from the point of view of a baby being aborted, and it begins with a baby crying. Kyo makes these pained gasps and screeches at various places in the song. Then there's a part where he's supposed to be the doctor asking the mother if she really wants to have the abortion:

"Is it really okay?
yes
is this your first time?
yes, it's my first
I have killed countless children
can you forgive me?
...
I ask one more time
is it really okay?
yes
are you ready?
yes
well then, let's begin..."

It's really good though, makes you think twice about the "ok" of abortion.

Just thought of something else - not the entire album, but quite a few songs from Dream Theaters "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory" album...not to mention the main character has the same name as me...>.<

Definitely Clay Aiken's "Invisible," and The Police's "Every Breath You Take" are oober creepy. Can we say stalker???

If you don't believe me, check out the lyrics....

Invisible

"If I was invisible
Then I could just watch you in your room
If I was invincible
I'd make you mine tonight..."

Every Breath You Take

"Every move you make
Every step you take
I'LL BE WATCHING YOU..."

I second that. But I love that song, it's a great one. The PV is pretty creepy too, but hey, that's life.
