( i really didn't think i could find their mv on youtube, since they're still relatively not that known. but no someone uploaded it. - power of youtube... ).

- their 2 singles seem 'harder' than the songs found on their first official album.
- some fans say that when they see the group in person, the vocal sometimes reminds them of hyde (of l'arc en ciel) - cuz yayoo's not that tall, but has a lot of energy on stage. (lol - not really too me, but i could see why they would say that though)

No offense, but they do look like a Jrock-wanna-be band.

However,im gonna try their music later.
And dislike their image.

^ ... what makes them look like a jrock-wanna-be-band? they're not even doing visual kei, if that's what you mean... (and japanese rock is a pretty big genre to mention).

I wouldn't say Jrock wannabes because......No one would actually WANT to suck as bad as jrockers

I can't tell any jrockers apart most of the time anyway. I like guys who look like guys.

The only thing that makes these guys look like "jrocker wannabes" is their gay looking hair. Nothing else looks jrocker about them, really.

^ lol the hair - yeah, but not that uncommon of hairstyles amongst young male entertainers in korea.
and like the person in comments section of youtube wrote - they did get inspiration from jrock in their beginning days - they briefly did the visual kei thing, but personally i'm glad to see that they pulled away from that look/feel.
anyways - dunno why they went softer in their 1st album release; it'd of been nice if they included some of their songs (like "Crazy") from the single in their first album release.

Eh... I didnt mean their musci is bad due to the images, its just becoz of me.

J-rock wannabes or not, they did have a more "visual" style with their first single and even debuted on Queen. Not to forget they also participated on the "Queen Teenage Visual" compilation years go.

"Queen Teenage Visual" => This term chills me like hell. Anyone please explain me more about it??

Ok.
Ive just tried some of their songs and they'r not considered an indie rock band in my opinion.
Its sucky I think.
But pretty good as another band like Buzz.

and yeah they are sorta jrock looking but that's not a bad thing

the vocals remind me of nemesis's vocalist
and he does sorta look like hyde

Ok, I don't get how they look like jrockers either. If anything they look like another k-pop boyband. But, omg, you know what? I just noticed that there ARE a few incredibly striking similarities, such as:

1) They're asian with mongoloid features
2) They play rock

And god knows any non-japanese-asian who fits the above crieteria are jrocker wannabes *rolls eyes

I'm being a total hypocrite for saying this, but if anything their rock sounds really American. Most of their songs sound like something I'd hear in a Fall Out Boy album =X. They do it really, really, really well.

Anyways, I like their music. Its not my absolute OMG favorite, but its good =). The main singer's voice sounds kinda whiny sometimes when he hits the high notes, like an American emo band (Hawthorne Heights, for example, whose main singer is pretty much always singing in the whiny falsetto), but much, MUCH more tolerable. Easy listening .

if you look at their old pics from their first couple singles yeah you can tell but i wouldn't call them wannabe lol
anyway their first singles didn't sound that great.

Absolutely love their voice.. and although I like Kpop but listening to this group is a nice change

they're hot and their 1st album is awesome.
I wouldn't compare them to J-rock cuz J-rock is a really vague description. not all J-rock sounds the same, every band has their own unique style.
GUYZ is different in their own way. ^^

i love guyz. their first album was pretty awesome. i especially love jelly pink. i listen to it when i clean my room. the beat gets me moving for some reason.
